Worst lamb biryani ever. Not even a biryani, it was pulaw with uncooked lamb. Ruined my dinner with my wife.
We used to love this take away but tried to order on 2 separate occasions this week orders rejected both times and phone line doesn't work. Won't be going back there now found another take away happy for my business. We are only ten minutes away as well. Very poor
Have honestly had about 30 orders from here over the years and the last 3 have just been horrific. New chefs, management? I really don’t know. Ordered again last night just to see if the last 2 were just a bad day for them. But no. Took 2 hours to deliver. Everything was honestly stone cold and weirdly flavourless? The madras was certainly not a madras lol. The sagaloo had an interesting spiky bit of wood that I almost choked on… which is attached in the photos. Honestly what’s happened? Phoned up to make taroka aware and they just said it’s a Saturday night, we’re busy, which yep I understand that lol. They did apologise but really didn’t come across like they’d acknowledged anything.
We have had the last few take outs from here and haven't been disappointed with the food taste, quantity or quality. The delivery time is the only minor criticism, but this can be avoided by just collecting. Overall, we're very satisfied with taroka. Keep up the good work.
Ordered from here due to limited choice of Indian takeaways, I can certainly see why its only got around 3 stars.. Shame I couldn't have ordered from elsewhere as the star rating did put me off. Food arrived not piping hot, had to warm up the curry in the microwave before eating. The onion baji's were so dry and chewy, had the texture of eating like jerky or something. Curry's tasted nice but were a little watery and the flavours just weren't as rich as other places I've ordered from. Naan bread was too stodgy as well. It was alright in a pinch, but I wouldn't order again and I wouldn't recommend either.
Food arrived 45mins late & cold. Nothing special about the food at all, best bit was the mint sauce & poppadoms. Sadly wont order again. Two stars- 1 for the guy on the phone & 1 for delivery guy - they were nice.
The set meal for 2 is the best value for money around, easily enough to feed 4
Terrible tikka masala. Sweeter than a pudding and absolutely no chargrilled smoke flavour. Horrible stuff.
Ordered a curry last night it was awful dry and tasteless..I was feeling Poorly today and so was my partner we didn’t finish the food. I threw it away had just under half… it was not tasty and I have been sick for the day and night… would not recommend and I won’t be going back… I ordered korma with chicken and my partner order the jalfrezi it again was tasteless…
