   We ordered from here through Uber eats and half the order was missing and the other half was so destroyed and cold it was inedible. I know they cannot be responsible for uber drivers but when we called there was no apology just blaming uber and their bad drivers. Well how about you don’t use uber if you know how bad they are? One v unhappy, non returning customer. It’s the attitude that annoyed me more than anything

   Went to Saffron on Saturday and as always the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. The chicken tikka starter was gorgeous and the Murgh Mushroomi chicken main course was outstanding. Lovely food with Bangla beer.

   4 of us booked for dinner on a Friday evening. Very poor experience. Staff have no character, no smiles, no chat, nothing. We ordered our curries and then poppodums were brought out as a starter. After that we had to wait over AN HOUR for our curries to come out even though we had booked. Compared to other curry houses, the portions are small and dissapointing for the price. Won't be visiting here again. Shame, Eastleigh needs a good curry house.

   I'd give 5 stars for the appearance of the food and 4 stars for the tastes. Pretty good flavour but not top drawer. But then they go and spoil everything when the bill arrives. I've never encountered anything like it. I had opted for the Sunday Special menu at a price of just under £19. But they list all the items I ordered and add a service charge onto that. Furthermore, I saw no mention of a service charge anywhere. I asked for it to be removed, and it was.

   Main meat food dishes decent but I felt side dishes very small in size. Unfriendly service and when we paid they didn't even say thank you or 'have a nice evening', the man just literally walked away!!?? I will not eat from them again. I'm also sick of paying for added service charge, especially when the service is poor. Also, the restaurant was very cold, I know it shouldn't be hot but it was freezing.

   Spent a fortune on an order. Never got my lamb vindaloo. I guess it was 21h44 and they wanted to close so didn't help me. Blamed Uber Eats instead. Slip clearly shows package check was not completed. They did add 4 free pompadoms. I guess because they only added 4 mains instead of 5.

   The food is OK, but since they don't use warmers it gets cold quickly. Many of the tables are quite close together and you're liable to have your elbows in someone else's dinner. The service is variable, you can be pestered or ignored. But least likeable is the fact that they add a service charge onto the bill automatically. Don't get caught out and leave a tip.

   My partner had walked past this restaurant during the afternoon and it really caught our eye. So that evening we decided to give them a try and we very insanely impressed. We’d called to order as they were too far to deliver to us and they were so friendly and accommodating. Also I’m a garlic fiend and requested LOTS with my rice and they really did follow through. Everything tasted perfectly fresh and had a great selection of vegetables within the curry I had. The flavours were gorgeous and perfect levels of spice. I have had a lot of Indian/Bangladeshi foods and tried an abundance of different restaurants and thought I’d discovered which were my favourites until I tried Saffron.
