   Sunday family evening meal. I have only given the Atmosphere three stars, because at the time of our visit, only two tables were occupied. A couple more tables being occupied would have really brought the restaurant to life. Food and service was excellent. All members of my family really enjoyed the meals and evening, they intend to return in the near future. Excellent choices on the menu. The same meal can be ordered as a starter or main course

   Best indian restaurant we have been to. Service was incredible, atmosphere amazing and good quality was exquisite. All the staff were super friendly and made you feel so comfortable. The food also is so fresh and so different from an Indian takeaway in the best way possible. Definately will return. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

   Staying at the Holiday Inn diagonally opposite with our young family, we fancied an early evening curry. There was a wide variety of choice of dishes and drinks, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Very tasty and good value for money. We look forward to heading back, next time we're in town.

   We met an old friend for a curry tonight, we are winchester and they southampton so we met in the middle and decided to try this place after driving past for years. Initially was a little worried from a few of the reviews but id like to say we were extremely happy with the quality of food and attentive friendly service. It wasnt very busy but had a good few tables taken giving a nice atmosphere. It also seems a few of the negative reviews seem to be fake as the alot of the names seem to be generic names with 1 review accounts.... who knows, definatly doesnt correlate where I just ate. So thanks guys thumbs up from me. If in the area would come again Ow and big bonus ... King fisher on tap! Not very common these days !!!! Brilliant

   I had an Indian takeaway from this restaurant on New Year's Eve and was quite impressed with the flavours, although I was expecting more spice, but I now know to order a much hotter curry. The staff were very polite and friendly whilst I was waiting, I would eat here again and look forward to booking a table in the new year.

   Wonderful food for a family meal.I particularly loved the onion bhajis and the rogan josh. Service was a little on the slow side but it was New Year's Eve and they were very busy with takeaways. Overall a great evening out to end 2022.

   I decided to arrange a surprise 30th birthday meal for my youngest son. The Badi Mirchi was the perfect choice .. centrally located with parking and lots of space inside. There were 24 of us in total which wasn't a problem. Syed and his staff were fabulous from the outset. Nothing was too much trouble. I was allowed to decorate the table and they were more than happy to accommodate my requests. We pre-ordered our food due to the size of the booking. On the night the service was beyond excellent and the food was superb and hot too! When catering for large numbers so often the food is served up luke warm but not at The Badi Mirchi. All the food came out quickly too. Everyone was commenting on how wonderful everything was .. the atmosphere, staff and food. It made such a change as I usually end up complaining about something but not this time. I cannot recommend The Badi Mirchi highly enough. We will definitely be returning!

   Absolutely horrible!! We ordered some garlic naans and tandoori roti for pick up today and once we brought our order home and was getting ready to eat, we were faced with naans that looked like they had been made days ago and then reheated right before pick up. Fresh naans are supposed to be soft and easy to pull apart, I am surprised we did not break any teeth. We called Badi Mirchi shortly after to provide our feedback, however we got a measly apology and that's about it. The least they could have done is offer a compensation or better yet offer to remake the naans. Will not be ordering from here again.
