I usually do not leave reviews for anywhere but my experience today was exceptional. The gentleman who was front of house was so lovely and friendly, the food was phenomenal and it is such a pretty restaurant! We will absolutely be returning. Thank you to all of the staff for such a wonderful experience.
We ate here at Chtistmas last year when visiting the Christmas Market and enjoyed it so booked again for our visit this year, noting rebranding. Also lovely to find a special discount following the reopening. Impressed from start to finish, from the smart modern attractive decor to the food and great service, with the male waiter Alberto? deserving special recognition for his thoughtful, attentive and welcoming manner. I loved the chicken satay which my husband and I shared and my main of beef redang. I think we will be back again next December!
Went there on Saturday with friends for the first time (6 of us). The welcome was lovely, the service fantastic from the get go. The food was amazing, and Albert and his crew just excellent. Wasn't sure what to expect with it being newly opened - and I wasn't disappointed. I normally don't bother going to eat out, because something normally isn't up to scratch, e.g. cold plates, rubbish service or food not as expected. It definitely wasn't the case here, and we will 100% be going back again, very soon. Ps.. try the lamb shank Massiman - LUSH! PS nice to be in a restaurant where you are not sat on top of other diners. Plenty of space between tables.
I need to start by saying the service here is incredible. The staff were super friendly warm and welcoming. One of the best places for service I have been. The ambience there is perfect and the food was really delicious. They have a separate vegetarian and vegan menu which is much appreciated. If you’re in the area really recommend going here. You won’t be disappointed
We walked in on a rainy day and were very politely asked to wait while a table was made ready for us. Fortunately they had space and were shown to an excellent table by the host who was so nice and helpful. The service here really is top notch, and the food is equally fantastic! Considering the high level of service and quality of food we were more than happy to pay the very reasonable bill. We don't live near Winchester but we'll be back to eat here every time we visit in future!
Do not order a takeaway from this place. We spent £50 and the result was absolutely disgusting, in both quality and value. The trio at £9 consisted of 4 sad items, alongside £7 of dumplings made with reject sausage material. I was expecting a rich tapestry of massaman curry, thick and aromatic - what was received was watery and filled with little content: bad end gristles of chicken. Absolute waste of money, poor value for an evening meal. We didn’t go asking for a refund in this climate, we just won’t be returning with our custom. Delivery was quick and friendly.
Very disappointed and still hungry. Left to right - 1st Chilli and Basil GraPao. It is a big container and is not even half full! 2nd Chicken green Thai curry. It was watery and there was 8 pieces of chicken. 3rd Beef rendang. Has 6 pieces of beef and is not even half the container! I emailed Palm Pan Asia these images and requested something be done on the 22nd July. Have resent the images a couple of times have have yet to even be acknowledged. Considering three mains came and prawn crackers came to £46, this is somewhat ridicules. They clearly do not care if I take my business elsewhere and so I shall.
Evening for two, Sharing platter starter was really rather good, duck spring roll which had a lighter than usual sauce was really impressive, lovely dumplings, chicken satay with extra sauce was also very good! Would have them all again in a heartbeat! We shared a Massaman curry and sticky rice with noodles, plenty of food! The only slight disappointment was that service charge was automatically added to the bill, I personally would prefer to add this at my discretion and often in cash, I’m always frustrated when a restaurant adds this in to the bill leaving the customer to choose to tip or not is a much nicer experience! I would still highly recommend a visit ⭐️
Food taste was awesome! The service crew was very accommodating. The place was perfect for dining for customers of any nationality.
Absolutely fantastic evening. Four of us visited on Saturday night. We've received fantastic service and delicious food. Oyoyoy, was our lovely hostess, so friendly, charming and entertaining. The food had beautiful Thai flavours and the wine a great accompaniment. We will be back soon.
