   Always love the atmosphere here, relaxed and friendly. The staff went above and beyond and added a candle to my son's Sundae and brought it out singing happy birthday to him. Thea and Junior were lovely.

   We arrived at the Premier Inn just after 9pm - checked in and thought we would get some food from the Gateway. As we asked for a table were told that the kitchen closed at 9pm. That seems quite early for a pub, and considering it's next to a hotel where later arrivals are common. Anyway, we had booked for breakfast at 9.30am the next day. Got there and there was a queue already as we waited for a waitress to take us to our table. She showed us to our table but didn't tell us there was no cooked buffet..you had to order. Ok, that was fine just nice to be told though. Tried to get some coffee but machine broken. Looked at the continental breakfast but hardly anything available. No interest from staff to serve so we thought this was a waste of time and left. I asked for a refund at the hotel reception and the member of staff (v helpful) had no issues and promptly issued the refund. Stayed in many prem inns over the years, this was the worst dining experience ever - if you can call it that as we didn't actually eat there. Shame, as the premier inn was really good. The management of the his pub seriously need to look at the running of the place as clearly not good enough on the weekend we stayed. (Nov 8/9)

   August 2025 Early evening meal Not very busy on our arrival, but soon began to fill. Very good menu. We had very good service. The food main courses and desserts were very good and enjoyable. Very good early evening visit. Lunchtime menu includes a two for one deal. Good varied menu and a children's menu is also available. Very good staff Another visit to to restaurant, earlier visit I gave it THREE stars Today's visit seven months later than our previous visit. Very disappointing, Entered restaurant nobody available until a delay of a few minutes to take us to a table. Then a long delay for our drinks order. A few more minutes food order taken. Delay in the arrival of our meals. You may accept this service if the restaurant was extremely busy, this was not the case. If I was generous the restaurant was a quarter full. Not enough staff on duty. New rating only ONE star. This standard would be really disappointing for anybody staying at the Premier Inn.

   I was so pleased with this restaurant. Went in with low expectations, but they were smashed. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. There's a brilliant range on the menu with something for everyone, especially vegetarians. The restaurant was clean and well presented, especially considering that it had been a busy Father's Day, and we went in the early evening. Our food came really quickly and was very tasty as well as prepared to a good standard. The serving size was great, especially the fish and chips. The prices are good and there's plenty of parking.

   I am staying here for 5 weeks and had paid 25£ for each day of meal deal …. Every day when i order mains (chicken curry) They give naan overcooked or something very hard like a rock? Papdam must be crispy but as always its not Its been 2 weeks i was avoiding not to leave feedback but i have paid 400£ in total for food only … joke???? Regards Harjeet Singh
