Love the food at Sala Thai-been going here for years. Take aways are a bit pricey but nice for a treat. Great chicken satay!

This place is a little gem in Bournemouth. A fantastic restaurant with excellent food and service was immaculate, so lovely and polite and clean. We go here whenever I visit my Sister and this time went for a birthday celebration. Not disappointed. The only reason I didn’t give full marks here was because there were not many people in on the night we visited but it was a windy rainy night so maybe that kept people from going out. In spite of this, the atmosphere was good.

Extensive menu, great service and amazing food! Our party of 4 were all delighted with the superb flavours of the food, the portions were filling and we had a wonderful time. The prices offered excellent value too. Highly recommended if you're looking for delicious Thai or spicy food.

Wow, what a discovery! We had dinner at Sala Thai on Saturday evening, and as first-timers, we were so impressed. This truly authentic Thai restaurant delivered an exceptional experience all around. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. Their menu is wonderfully diverse, and our server was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions with a smile. Our group of four thoroughly enjoyed every single dish. The Honey Prawns starter, featuring perfectly deep-fried tiger prawns in a special coconut batter with a sweet honey drizzle, were a particular standout. All our main meals – the Panang Curry, Nuea Sala Thai, Duck Tamarind, and Spicy Drunken Noodles, paired with delicious coconut rice and egg fried rice – were bursting with incredible flavors. We spotted so many other mouth-watering options on the menu that we'll definitely be returning to try more!

Delicious food and very good service. Super kind people and just make you feel special and very welcome. Holy Basil Chicken was the star of what we chose. Nice wine list. The chicken skewers with satey sauce from our sharing starter was absolutely delicious.

Have always really loved this place and raved about it, even taking visitors here. We got take out and I was shocked with how expensive it has become. £12/13 for a curry is what I would expect to pay dining in but not take out. The food tasted nice but not as amazing as we’ve had previously. I was also really disappointed with how small the portions were. £40 for 3 mains and one rice is too much sadly.

Finally took the time to visit Sala Thai and was really impressed! Had a dinner that was authentic Thai. Service was good from happy staff who took us through the menu's many options. Loved the prawns Gra-ree and the Masaman curry. Added to my list of places to go back to.

Very authentic Thai restaurant. Small inside but lovely decorations. Friendly service and incredible food! I was pleasantly surprised because when we first walked in its very quiet and wasn't very busy, but after being inside a lot of people came in to pick up their takeaways. My friends had the sharing platter to start which looked amazing and they said it was delicious. We had vegetable spring rolls, vegetable red thai curry which wasn't too hot and full of flavour, coconut rice which was the nicest coconut rice I've ever tasted, and the vegetable pad thai. I can highly recommend all of these dishes and visiting this restaurant.
