Unfortunately, this is not my first bad experience here. I don’t believe in writing bad reviews as all businesses can have a down day, however, it’s needed here. On my last experience, I put this down to an off day. Last time it took 15/20 mins to be seen when it wasn’t particularly busy. There were staff doing not an awful lot, sat around a table in the corner chatting whilst a few other customers were also waiting. Today, I fancied a Wagamama’s with my partner, and wanted to give the benefit of the doubt from previous to try again. My second experience was much the same. Not many customers and took forever to be seen whilst staff were hanging around, again. Lots more chatting and poor service whilst customers were waiting. On both occasions, we got up and left to go to Chiquitos, where we got very attentive service and a warm welcome.

Here’s a natural sounding five star review you can post: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at Wagamamas. The food was fresh and came out quickly, but what really made the visit stand out was the host Darren. He was friendly from the moment I walked in and genuinely made the whole experience feel welcoming. Little things like checking in, making sure everything was alright and just being easy to talk to made a big difference. You can tell he actually enjoys what he does. Overall a really smooth visit and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I ordered chicken ramen and I'm glad I didn't order anything else. The first thing that catches the eye is the presentation of the dish, they threw some herbs on it and tried to put the chicken nicely, but I guess the chefs ran out of energy, so they didn't even put a boiled egg on it. But what's most frustrating is that it tastes like it's not just NOT ramen, it's not even chicken broth. It was my first time at Wagamama and I have a question, is it only here like this or do they cook like this in the whole chain of restaurants? Not 1 star only because the staff are nice, polite, nicely dressed, courteous. Ramen £14.20

Wagamama is a chain so no surprises here. They have a new juice which was my favourite of all the one they have so I recommend trying it. Then the chicken katsu although it might look the same the sauce is different to the one I’ve had before and it contains peanuts, but the waitress made sure we were aware of this and reminded us about disclosing any allergies prior to ordering. Restaurant was clean and following the chain aesthetic. Service was good and friendly. No wait time to be seated as there were not many people. I would recommend!

Food was good and as usual very fresh. I tried the new Gyoza ramen and it was great. Hot and spicy squid was yummy as always. The service at Camberley is always quick. You order your favourite dish and it always comes out the same everytime. Its like they have a replicator from The Enterprise. You pay your money but it never dissapoints.

We always have a very pleasant meal here, we come rather often! Caitlin was a great server, she’s served us many times before and always had a smile on her face to greet customers. The only constructive feedback I would have is the chilli squid is often slighter over done and under seasoned compared to other Waga mama chains we’ve been to. That is no way a complaint just an observation. We love waga, always have always will!

Feels like the quality of the food has gone down hill recently. The starter/sharer plate portions are tiny. Several dishes recently have been overly oily which just ruins the taste. I’ve seen the same dishes being returned more than once by other tables. Too expensive. Not the quality you expect.

I went with family to this place. We loved the Japanese food. Especially, the Ramen noodle soups were really awesome! Strongly recommend anyone visiting here to try the Ramen soups!

The staff are nice and friendly but today’s chicken katsu curry sauce is a bit cold so it ends up with lumps instead of the flowing liquid. For the currey I would give 3 out of 5. We’ve been to Another wagamama restaurant their chicken katsu curry is much better. The beef buns are nice; I would rate 5 out of 5. Overall, a nice dining experience.
