Fantastic time with Carol Massey, Sheila and Lisa in the Cotswolds this week! Felt really spoilt and completed lots of paintings.
This was my first painting holiday. It was great and I did manage to learn some things despite also having a great holiday.
Absolutely brilliant. When asked "did you have a good holiday?" I can only say brilliant my Alpha Painting holiday surpassed all my expectations. From the start, easy to book all communication was answered promptly and thoroughly. Matt met us at Marseille Airport as arranged and drove us to our Hotel Norte Dame De Lumieres in Gould the Heart of Provence a former convent which was very tranquil more like a retreat really. We arrived in time for lunch where we met a few other guests and Paul Weaver our tutor who had arrived earlier. From that point on we wanted for nothing apart from the ability to paint all the beautiful villages, scenery and buildings Matt And Gill took us to. We just couldn't believe it was so beautiful. From breakfast, morning coffee,lunch to dinner including water and soft drinks all day the organisation was so thoroughly thought out and it felt so comfortable. We were very lucky to have a good group who got on well and Paul Weaver such a good teacher, artist and very patient always on hand with help and advice. Then we had to leave!!! Only one suggestion would be nice to have tea and coffee in the room. All we can say is well done Matt and Gill always in the background making sure we had a holiday to remember. Thank you we will be back. Delivered safely to the airport for the return home of course. Worth every penny.
