   A true hidden gem in Bournemouth. The food here is absolutely fresh & delicious, you can really taste the quality in every bite. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality you get. ​What really sets this place apart is the customer service; it is hands down the best I’ve experienced in a long time. The place is spotless & even though the toilets are upstairs, they are in mint condition and very well looked after. A special shout-out to the lovely lady at the reception who made our day by giving us free lollipops & sweets. ​ Parking can be a bit hard to find nearby, so give yourself a few extra minutes, but trust me it is absolutely worth the effort..

   We booked this place for a Sunday lunch after all the pubs were fully booked and it was absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere (nicer than the pics look online!), really attentive service and everything we ate was great and so reasonably priced. We had falafel, halloumi, baba ghanoush, fattoush, a couple of pizzas (the spinach and cheese was great). A couple of complementary bits from the very sweet woman. Can’t fault it!!

   This is with out doubt a must try restaurant. Great family atmosphere great value for money. With great fresh food. Ideal for vegetarians and meat eaters. Great with younger children. If looking for a place to take family for lunch in Charminister should be the first place to try. Plus the takeaway wraps are great for those eating on the move. Thanks yet again for a great meal today . Look forward to returning.

   So ended up repairing a tyre in Charminster and we had time for a bite. Everything was pretty much closed but Simsim was open and looked quite cosy and welcoming. We ordered Falafel plate, zitaar and haloumi pizza and mint tea. Some desert bites for free when we paid the bill. Very nice and welcoming people. Definitely recommending it if you fancy arabic style of food, hummus, pickled cabbage etc Mint tea was also great!
