   I have personally never had an issue with river island before. While recently the customer service has been poor, especially one member of staff who brings her personal life into work, and was rude to me for not having a conversation with her while I was being served.

   This shop, River Island, sells attractive and fashionable clothes for mums and daughters, adult and children. Some of the clothes are not the best quality. Maybe that would be something to take into account. The clothes are fashionable And of moderate price. The illumination in the shop is a bit too bright

   Shop itself is hell on earth for any neuro divergent or disabled person. The layout is very hard to get around, music is super loud and the lighting is incredibly bright. Clothes though are super nice and well made just can't walk into the store.

   Products are great-rather pricey but nice. Customer service wasn’t great, bought two purses and a handbag for more than £80 and she only took two security tags off. The handbag security tag was left on which I only noticed once I got home (out with Aberdeen city). I was also refused a paper receipt, told online email only, entered my email address using the key board she turned round for me but couldn’t see the screen to double check it had spelt correctly as keyboard was chunkier than my Mac I’m used to. Was worried I’d be accused of stealing so had to use 2 different wire cutters to get it off after it broke the first pair. Wouldn’t of had a problem taking it back if I was given a paper receipt! She insisted they ran out of paper in the till and couldn’t refill it. Also wasn’t going to pay another £3.60 in parking just to get a security tag taken off that should of been taken off to begin with!
