This is the second cash for clothes in Basingstoke and now Southampton that are closed when you turn up in the hours their website says is open. (Weekday Thurs and Sat) Ringing the London number just rings out. I had 50kg of good clothes so will now give to charity. Never bother with this group
SCAMMERS! BEWARE! first time in a few years I went there. I turned up with 7 big backs of clothes, about £12 worth I would say. A young girl said 'sorry there is no cash' I had no where else to put the clothes. Bad experience, don't go there
Well this place has gone downhill since the two young girls left !!! The rude man I dealt with yesterday was the worst experience I’ve had with them even though I was told to get there before 5pm I arrived at 4.15 pm only for him to say they don’t have any cash, when they normally go and get some if need be. He is always obnoxious and rude!!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED
Hand if you would like a bit of instant cash. The downside is that it is £4 for 10 kilos and all the clothes must be in a reusable condition, otherwise they won't take them. 10 kilos is a lot of textiles, a large bin bag crammed full is 10 kilos.
ABC cash 4 cloths are very handy to have also the two girls that are normally there are very very friendly, helpful kind and generous if I could of give them more more stars I would certainly do so I recommend them to ANYONE who needs a extra bit of cash for your clothes top notch service
40p per kg and staff was polite and explained how it worked. I’m happy I could give a second home to my clothes as well as kitchen cutlery and books.
Offered 40p/kilo which is better than nowt. Place a bit tricky to find for sure. It is on the corner of Empress rd and Empress rd leading to Dukes rd. Small doorway on left. Staff seemed ok to me but they will look through bags so no trying to sneak bad quality items in.
Phoned ahead to check they were open and a polite young lady answered and talked me through the process when I asked how it worked. She met me at the entrance with a young man (who took all my bags out of my boot for me) and they weighed my bags. It all came to £14.77 and they even gave me £15. Very sweet! Would use again!
