   A phenomenal and unexpected service from Lisa at Next Salisbury. I went in a month ago searching for a suit for my wedding in Malaga in September and was expecting the usual ‘don’t really care cos I’m paid by the hour regardless’ staff, luckily that couldn’t be further from the truth. Next like a lot of highstreet stores is typically viewed as a place you go, try on and buy off the shelf kind of company with as little to no interaction as possible. Being British, the slightly more reserved culture, where you don’t want to disturb or inconvenience someone, usually kicks in when you go to a store so this also aligns with my preconceived thoughts. I walk in and start looking at colours and this lovely lady, Lisa, comes over and asks if I need assistance. Not having a clue what I was looking for, she takes the reins. Not only does she assist in what colour, style and theme I was trying to achieve but also she knew the exact size I was before even asking. It turns out she’s worked for Next for 30 years and was a professional suit tailer in years gone by. What an absolute find! Over the course of an hour and 15 minutes Lisa told me what did and didn’t work and as I was finding the suits for 5 others, she swiftly located all the requested sizes and ordered these to a store more local to me. I left and phoned my wife to be and said how unusual it was to find such customer service here in the UK. Fast forward 28 days, 2 of the garments didn’t fit the other members of the party and I then had to replace these. One of them was in store so no problem. The other was a size 48L jacket which was unavailable on their system. Not only was it unavailable at the store, online it was unavailable too. A bit of an issue as if that didn’t fit we’d have to change the whole colour scheme to account for that size. In comes Alison. Alison and Lisa (dream team) now Individually check each store from Southampton to London, Liverpool to Bath and spend hours on the phone trying to locate this jacket. Not only that but a waist coat which wasn’t in stock either. I left the store hopeful but not confident. Fast forward a couple of hours and I get a call saying that both have been found and are being sent by courier to arrive the following week. Phenomenal customer service, truly went the extra mile and an all round unmatched experience. Will I use Next in the future? Yes. Will I choose this outlet over any other? Yes. Will I recommend this store to anyone I meet? Yes. Thank you ladies for a very memorable experience. I’ll drop by after the big day to show you pictures. Lucas.

   I have never had a bad experience here and the Next Edition Perfume is a good reason for me to always go back. The men's collection is located on the first floor and features a wide range of clothing and fashion items for men. The home decor is also here too. The ground floor houses both women and kids section. There store has a great ambience and the staff are pleasant. We have had to return items in the past and these have been without hassles. There's loads of free parking at and around the Southampton Road Retail Park.

   Never again will I be click and collecting, or using next. Email said item will be ready for collection after 12! Went down to get said item and just got told oh its here but won't be ready for another hour! Well don't put on your emails to come after 12pm then! Not good enough and you need to word your emails better as it's misleading! So now I have to go back again and waste even more petrol for a very small order! Useless!!!

   The store is always tidy and the clothing well presented. Always a good range of sizes. The staff I have contact with have been friendly and are knowledgeable about their system and it’s products. Next clothing is priced sensibly and in the main, good quality. Great that we have such a good Next store in Salisbury.

   Staff always friendly, well kept store, ample parking. Ladies department including petite section, children's department, men's and homeware on top floor. Plenty of fitting rooms, with buzzers to alert staff should you need a different size etc. Staff always happy to help you find and order items online if you can't find what you want on shop floor. Coffee house adjoining. Note to Next, please keep this store open!
