   I've had a horrible experience here at this college and allow me to briefly tell you why. When it comes to a student, such as myself, having an ISP (Individual Support Plan) that has accommodations that dont fit quite right with class expectations the college staff tend to make a huge big deal about it. They've threatened me with disciplinary after disciplinary for using my needed accommodations due to multiple medical conditions. Not only that, but how staff treat students in main stream with special accommodations is crazy. Like I understand there are rules to be followed, but to treat yiur students like theyre an inconvenience is insane. I have been at this college since September 2024 and I soon intend to drop oit as I am severely traumatised from this place. They say they take seriousness when it comes to being bullied but I have been a target since 2024, and nothings been properly done and they do NOT protect you properly even when they say theh do.

   I was a long term student at Central Bedfordshire college Dunstable for about 4 years I did 2 years of child care and then the second year I did childcare and preparing for adulthood what I enjoyed. After doing that course I moved on to the support internship course the first and second year was fine but when we all had to work from home in 2020 the support I got from my job coach was absolutely awful she didn’t even check up on me when it wasn’t job coach day and it wasn’t good at all. Then when i went back to college in 2021 it was all fine but over time i just wasn’t getting the right support when i had a family member that passed away my job coach or the team manager didn’t actually have a chat with me to see if i was doing well and need any kind of support i didn’t get no support at all from my own job coach what was absolutely shocking and unacceptable behaviour towards me at the time. But it’s just absolutely disgusting how they can post these videos up on social media instagram showing how amazing and positive Central Bedfordshire college actually is when it isn’t and even saying about support internship as well how they can make it look so good and you get the right support when in fact you actually don’t and i just think it’s absolutely disgusting how they can make it look like a positive and good college.

   The worst college ever !!! My son was in pathway section( special needs kids) . He got kicked out from the college as he got accused of being sexual predator. Apparently police was involved and the case was very serious but in the end we never been informed or contacted by the police, no crime reference number, no evidence, nothing at all. After arranging all meetings, surrounded by lots of members of staff which made us feel like serious criminals he got dismissed. The funniest part is that after couple of weeks another boy got suspended and finally kicked out as well because exactly same situation happened with the same girl. Don’t want to be rude but clearly it was something wrong with her. Finally she left the college randomly and everything got brushed under the carpet. Now he is without education, he has got bad record on his file. The conclusion is that this place is not prepared for taking people like this on board, they washed their hands, they only need pupils which are making no trouble and don’t need looking after at all. EHCP plan which was provided is written by uneducated and unprofessional people which never had contact with special needs children. This institution is clearly not ready to provide this kind of environment, be aware and avoid at any cost to safe all disappointments for your kids. Nothing has been proved and now 2 innocent guys and their families are struggling to leave normal lives.

   If there was a possibility to rate minus five I would. The worst college I ever been. My course is delayed by one year , ONE YEAR Delayed! Because the lack of organisation and communication. How come a college provide the same courses every year and they still don’t know what they need for the courses run smoothly. They make changes to the course timetable and they don’t inform the students, they do what suits them. Classes cancelled last minute, every time I sit a exam always delayed by one hour because they always have IT issues. This clearly demonstrates that they don’t prepare them selves for anything.

   Despite all the negative reviews, this place has massively changed since then; the addition of a secondary building has improved the range of subject specialities available, and the course I'm currently taking is amazing. Staff are friendly and approachable, facilities are clean and sanitary, food from the refectory is cheap and good tasting, and they don't try to extort money out of you like other educational places.

   Awful. I was a pupil when I was 18 physically attending the college and again last year as a work based learning pupil. I signed up for my course in January 2016, went to the tutor and all that. I heard nothing from them until May even though we had already paid, I was constantly chasing them up to know when I could start. I would go weeks without hearing from my tutor but then told that I was behind in my work. I would have to wait for ages for any answers to queries I had, is it any wonder? Then when I finally sent in my last unit July 2017, did I get a confirmation from my tutor that she recieved it? Of course not. I heard nothing from her from that point on just having to guess if I passed or not. Bringing me on to my second point, my certificate. Its currently almost March 2018 and have I received my certificate? Nope. I had to call them over a month ago and ask where it is, they informed me that I passed but apparently it's "got lost in the mail" and that they'll get another copy and contact me so I can pick it up. I call BS because two of my family members also had the same problem of having to wait a good 8-12 months before receiving anything. It isn't good enough. This college needs to shape up, especially if they want money from people.

   Absolutely awful college. This college has no organisation skills what so ever. Courses being cancelled, tutors leaving half way through the course, communication and language barriers with staff and tutors, rude, ignorant and untrained staff. I have been at this college for 3 years and witnessed the terrible making of the new building that was placed nearly 2 years ago. The new kitchens and the beauty salons were fine, however the changing rooms were terribly made, along with the other classrooms that seemed extremely toneless and dull. Lets just say it is not the best environment to study in.
