Be Careful! Unqualified staff responsible for the supervision of your children! Finding out from an employee that some members of staff do not have the correct DBS or certifications needed. After doing some digging they have already failed an ofsted report in 2023 from a similar scenario. (Changing company name afterwards)

My sons attended 2 days at Willen for the May half term. The activities advertised on the timetable, in the main, did not take place on the days they attended which was a shame as we chose these two days in particular and no suitable alternatives for their age group seemed to be provided creating a lot of boredom. I can understand why a couple didn’t take place due to weather, however there was no contingency in place if weather was bad. Safeguarding - I was not asked to sign my children out and I was not asked for our password which was requested when booking the sessions. However, I’ve been advised that this has been addressed. My boys came home upset and disappointed. Although in previous years had enjoyed it.

My daughter enjoyed the camp but the attendance guy at the door is not good with kids. The other day, he shouted at my 3 yrs old daughter for taking 2 toys which cost maybe 50p and he was not remorseful at all even when we approached him and told him how we felt about his actions. Instead of shouting at her, it would have been more appropriate if he had spoken to us. I was not happy to extend my daughter's stay 'cos of his bad behavior .

Children are well engaged with Teddy sports tennis and enjoy every session. The coaches understand the age range they are working with and what would benefit them. Communication with staff is also very good!

My little boy attended sporty scholars over the summer six weeks holidays and absolutely loved it. The coaches are all friendly and my son has enjoyed all the outside activities as well as the indoor ones. Thank you sporty scholars!

As a mum to a boy who is rather nervous to new situations I was a bit apprehensive about booking him on to too many sessions and for too long. Therefore I originally only booked for half a day for one day each of the weeks, but once settled in on the first day, he really enjoyed it, so much so that I extended the hours of that day and added a couple more days on. The club were so accommodating to my children's needs and so flexible as I was able to extend hours, add days and even add my second child to join the club after querying a few things first. The communication between staff and parents is absolutely fantastic! I received calls with a quick update about how the children were settling in on their first days and how they were getting on. I would like to add a special thank you to both Monika and Chantel for answering all my questions and keeping me updated and informed. I highly recommend this club and look forward to booking on in the future!
