   I returned to riding almost two years ago after a gap of more than fifteen years and I couldn't be more pleased that I did. Neil and Sue run an immaculate yard and are wonderful instructors - friendly, professional and extremely patient! The horses and ponies are beautifully schooled and are clearly loved and well cared for. I found everyone at the stables to be friendly and welcoming and although I was nervous at the start (due to the long gap since I had last ridden, being the wrong side of sixty and never having done dressage before!) I have now got the bug all over again. I cannot recommend Tinsleys Riding School highly enough.

   Time spent at Tinsleys is always friendly and fun. The instructors are always encouraging and they can quickly identify areas of your riding which requires improvement. They will provide you with exercises and advice which can help you master those areas. I started riding as a beginner and continued riding over 10 years later. Tinsleys can cater for all levels of capability and when you're ready Tinsleys, will provide you with opportunities to put your skills to the test through competitions. The horses are wonderful - all so different, but each of them are lovely to be around and ride. I highly recommend Tinsleys to anyone wanting to ride - new or experienced!

   I have been riding with Sue and Neil at Tinsley’s for 15 years. They look after my aged horse Huggybear and have lent me their lovely Austin now that Huggy can’t be ridden. They are very sympathetic teachers and I have learnt a lot, both about riding and about working with horses. Even though I am aged, they still take me competing at dressage. The Tinsley’s horses excel at competitions, they are so well trained and of a great disposition. They are usually the best horses in the class! The yard is sociable and good fun and it is so sweet to see littlies aged six and upwards learning to ride and be happy around horses. Thank you, Sue and Neil for 15 great years, from Barbara and Huggybear.

   Tinsleys Riding School is a fantastic place! Sue and Neil are both very knowledgeable and are able to teach across all levels. The horses are very well cared for and many are competing regularly in dressage competitions- and winning! But as important is the friendliness and welcome for all. I t is certainly the best place that I have ever ridden.
