   There could be more Gluten Free options and labelling of food in my opinion for those people who are Coeliac. I visited this place with my Sister and Niece who are both diagnosed as Coeliac. My Sister ordered a Banana Milkshake for my niece, while the Cafe was quite busy, my sister was told the milkshake would be delivered to our table after about 10 minutes then milkshake had not appeared and after my sister enquired about this it appears this had been forgotten and turned up a few minutes later. However my Niece did enjoy her milkshake when she finally received it.

   I recently visited this coffee shop with high expectations, given that they present themselves as a specialty coffee establishment. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing on several levels. I ordered three different coffees, hoping to get a sense of the quality and care they put into their drinks. Sadly, all three were subpar. The flavors were harsh and unbalanced, and none of the drinks reflected the standards typically associated with specialty coffee. In addition, the customer service was confusing and left much to be desired. I was not asked what size I wanted when placing my order, and it was only after paying that I realized I had been charged for three large drinks. When I mentioned this to the staff, they responded by telling me the size I received was the regular one. However, the receipt clearly indicated “large.” Instead of clarifying or acknowledging the issue, the staff appeared confused and dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable and unprofessional. The cups were quite large, and had I been given the choice, I would have opted for a smaller size. Unfortunately, that option was never communicated to me at any point during the ordering process. Overall, the quality of the coffee and the lack of clear communication did not meet the expectations one would reasonably have for a specialty coffee shop. I do not plan to return.

   It would really help if there were prices displayed next to the cakes. The cakes are OK, bought in tray bakes and buns, two cost £7. But would be nice not to need to keep asking prices - it’s embarrassing.

   Really great coffee, nice decor and friendly service. My pastry wasn’t fresh, but they exchanged it for an apple flapjack, which was lovely. Will definitely go back.

   Gorgeous independent cafe, deli with local cheeses, baked goods, in beautiful Wargrave. Another UKLockdown livesaver. Very close to Henley-on-Thames & Maidenhead.
