As a family we have been going to Step n Grooves for over 6 years. I have watched my children blossom in their ability and their confidence is nurtured allowing them to grow in dance and out. With the pressures on children today, step n grooves offers them a place to be themselves, love what they do and build amazing friendships.
Not even sure where to start with this amazing dance school! We have loved every minute since joining - both me and my daughter dance here and it is a fantastic community to be involved in! Steph should be really proud of what she has built here, the quality of the teaching, the communication and the commitment is brilliant. The shows have been amazing and good fun to do and we loved our exams too! A nice clean and open space is where it all takes place with plenty of parking too! Throughout COVID Steph has kept the wheels turning which is just brilliant ! Katie does a sterling job teaching the Street dance, there is real passion demonstrated throughout - well done guys! Would highly recommend!
I could not recommend Step N Grooves more. Steph and her team are brilliant at what they do, particularly in making children feel confident about what they are doing and making sure they are having fun. Both my son and daughter have been dancing with SNG for the last 3 years and they love it.
We love step N Grooves! My 4 year old daughter attends and loves it. The teachers are so warm, professional and welcoming. It is great for confidence and the children also get the opportunity to perform in regular shows or to take exams which they are supported in every step of the way. I couldn't recommend enough. My daughter has really gained a lot through dance. I attend the adults session and again a lovely class, friendly, professional and a wonderful atmosphere. I was made to feel welcome from the day I started, which as an adult I was very nervous. But again The ladies are adaptable with us, kind and supportive and we have a great time and it's a pleasure to be around such a lovely group of people who I can now call my friends x
My youngest son started dancing at Step N Grooves just over 8 years ago, he now goes 3 days per week, since then myself and my eldest son have joined. A very well managed dance school where FUN is the key to the success of each and every dancer. The Step N Grooves family were, and continue to be a huge support to all 3 of us after the sudden death of my fiancé - proving it’s not just about the dance, it’s about making new friends and looking out for each other, this isn’t just in the adults classes it’s also evident in the children’s classes. It’s overwhelming to see the growth of each dancer, there’s NO pressure on anyone to do something they don’t feel comfortable with - the main aim is to enjoy yourself whilst learning new dance techniques and routines. A lot of hard work and thought goes in to everything that Steph, Katie and Frances produce - even picking songs for new routines can be a challenge, especially with most of the songs in the charts nowadays containing many expletives in their lyrics. So quite simply... Step N Grooves is AMAZING!! xxx
I have been a follower of Step N Grooves for many years and have watched it blossom from Steph as a single teacher to now having two of her students join her in teaching and teach their own lessons. Steph puts her heart and soul in to teaching her students (young and old) and the amount of organising that goes in to the lessons, exams and the shows she creates is phenomenal!
