   I visited Oliver Bonas on Wednesday and left feeling genuinely uncomfortable. The staff member who appeared to be the manager was unprofessional, overbearing, and completely misaligned with the shop’s image. She spoke in an exaggerated, Disney-princess-style voice, but her appearance and overall presence gave the opposite impression — more like a Disney villain than anything friendly or welcoming. The whole interaction felt false and unsettling rather than warm. She hovered constantly, insisted on taking items to the till every time I picked something up, and made me feel as though I was being treated with suspicion instead of as a customer. Combined with her poor personal presentation and an unpleasant smell, the experience was bad enough that I felt unwell by the time I left. I won’t be returning. Such a pity as the shop's products are great.

   This place has nice products, purchased from here before. However a couple of my experiences now have been unpleasant and I’m definitely now not going to be purchasing, was followed multiple times by the same person working, then noticed the same one greeted all the customers on my way in and the others after me, but me nothing, just a look and following me. Very unpleasant, when you’re in the service industry you’re going to have to be civil with all kinds of people from different backgrounds it’s better to leave the prejudice behind.

   Got sent here by my other half to pick up earrings and a cardigan, I was armed only with a photo of said earrings from the website. Had 3 members of staff helping me and came away with the earrings and a cardigan the staff picked out, appreciated the help in my hour of need.

   Lovely shop with good selection of quality home goods as well as clothes. Staff gave us time to look round but were also very friendly and helpful. The jumper I bought was carefully wrapped in tissue paper. Even my husband liked it!

   Oliver Bonas is amazing for gifts! This was my first time in this location and I instantly felt like I was being followed and watched by a member of staff. If I wasn’t already a fan of the shop I would have walked out. That being said, the member of staff who helped me at the till (receipt said the name was Orasa) was so lovely and welcoming that I left the shop very happy. Shame about the staff who have been instructed to watch customers around the shop.

   Similar experience to Abbey's post below, I wonder if it's the same member of staff. I'm a regular customer at Oliver Bonas (Aberdeen branch) and the staff are usually very lovely & helpful. I had a horrible experience in there today with 1 member of staff i've not seen in the store previously and clearly requires further customer service training. I came out of the store feeling belittled & mocked. It has put me off returning to the store.

   I am visiting from Edinburgh and popped into this store today, and was appalled at how uncomfortable the staff made me feel. The staff made it very obvious that they were watching my every move and it just made me feel like leaving - so I did! I’m not sure if shoplifting is a real issue in Aberdeen but regardless, this is extremely off-putting for paying customers and I imagine this approach results in the store losing out on sales. This is not the kind of service I expect from Oliver Bonas. I certainly wouldn’t be made to feel this way in the Edinburgh store - the staff in the Edinburgh store couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming! Aberdeen staff need to take a leaf out of their book :)

   Lovely items on the higher price range. Interior was lovely. Staff was not too welcoming. You can get nice cards, jewelry, books, from here, furniture, china, mugs, accessories, beauty mask and etc.
