Had a lovely couple of pints after not visiting this pub for 20 years! I drive a truck and thought I'd see if it was still going. Thank you.
The private function room surprised me, they've done a good job in there it's small and personal so great for not many people.. They' were very slow on serving drinks, no soda water on pump, so had to have 2 silly little bottles n that still didn't make a pint of lime and sodawater. No lemonade or coke on a pump n a high prices charged on the tins of cola n lemonade The Toilets were OK, clean.
Great pub, great bar staff who are extremely friendly, polite and helpful, a fantastic landlord and great atmosphere.
Extremely helpful staff with my mum an wheelchair and helping the out of the pub around closing. I enjoyed the night thank you very much.

Love this place been going there since i was a kid . Great people great atmosphere and friendly. Highly recommended. Doesn't seem to matter if you are a regular or just stopping by you are always made to feel welcome and included. Lots of fond memories come flooding back when you walk through the doors ( like an English version of " cheers " !!!) A must visit for ANYONE. Live music nights are a must and Sunday lunchtime is also a " bucket list " contender. Take a look for yourself you'll be pleasantly surprised
A great place to have a drink. Landlord and landlady are very welcoming. The people that drink there are also very friendly. Darts and pool teams. Sometimes they have a DJ or a band on a weekend. They also have sports on the tele sometimes.
