I went to the store (burton) and wanted to buy a watch but it was out of stock so the staffs order it to come to the store; so I paid in cash and the staffs told me that I could collect the watch at that store later. However, I got a phone call from a store in Birmingham a few days later telling me to go and collect but that was nowhere near burton, where the staffs order told up to go and collect originally. The staffs in Birmingham told us it was not there problem and can’t do anything about it; told us to ring the store at Burton which when we called would not pick up at all even after many calls. I had no choice but to go to the store at burton myself because nothing else was working. I went and talked to them and they said they had no idea about what was happening. They said that they send people to collect the watch at Birmingham. I just feel that it took so much time just for something but they said they would only take me like tomorrow to get which isn’t really good like not the best customer service. It makes me not want to go back there and buy stuff from the store again cause like the good feeling is just gone . I’m just here wanting to help you guys -everyone to make sure that you look at the address at the receipt they sent you first before actually leaving the store because I don’t know it might have been my fault for not looking in the first place, but again, just making sure that it is that store that you want the product to be delivered in and not somewhere else like what happened to mine. Hope everyone’s experience is not like mine.

Awful experience on Saturday. Went to get a new fridge for my mother as hers had just broken down. Found the fridge we could take away there and then. Asked a member of staff who turned away and walked off. No staff around after this. Went downstairs all staff were to busy chatting or on the phone. So had to order the product online on the shop. Went to collection point were no staff were available. The push here button was turned off. If it wasn't for someone buying a computer no staff would have turned up. As a store the staff really don't care unless you are buying a TV or computer.

Shocking false advertising on the "epic deals" for Tablets and the GM's best answer was "we're not responsible for the display". The only tablet with a keyboard on display, NO clear indication that the keyboard is sold separately. Zero accountability, just shrugged shoulders. The GM pointed to a little sign with a photo of the tablet to convince us that this is sufficient proof but he couldn't even read the fine print himself, he had to call another staff member to read the small text. Disgusting! Shrugged their shoulders, tried looking for a "deal" on the keyboard (£230) and casually says, "by the way, if you order it now we can't guarantee when it will be delivered. It will be a while" .. and couldn't tell us how long "a while" will be. At this point, we walked out. Just shocking.

Currys PC World in Burton is an impressive store with a wide range of products to cater to all your tech and household needs. The store is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for. From TVs, laptops, mobiles, and smartwatches to PCs and gaming equipment, the selection of tech products is extensive. Additionally, they also offer a variety of household appliances such as fridges, washing machines, air fryers, kettles, and ovens. The pricing is competitive, and their "buy now, pay later" deals make purchasing more flexible and budget-friendly. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, providing excellent customer service. Another highlight is the convenient parking area outside, so there’s no hassle finding a spot. Overall, Currys PC World Burton is a fantastic place for shopping, whether you're after the latest gadgets or essential home appliances. Highly recommended!

Went in store today to pick up a Huawei smartwatch. After waiting one hour for the staff to find the keys of the cabinet, the guy said that the one in offer was the white one and not the gold one when the gold one was on display on top of the label that had the offer on top. Currys is usually good but this one is a mess. Won't visit here again. Just went home to order the item from Amazon for a cheaper price.

I popped in here with my son on Christmas eve to purchase an Xbox series x. Getting somebody's attention was the first task, 15 minutes of wondering around looking for sales. Then to be pointed towards a young lady who was also wondering around, no uniform, no name tag. Nothing to identify her as staff. She fetched us the xbox then took us over to the counter. Here she proceeded to try and force me into buying product protection insurance. Telling me, " it's included." Obviously knowing its not and an additional monthly fee I didn't fall for this and pulled her up on it immediately. So, overall. Avoid. You will get ignored, then upsold insurance you probably don't want or need. I'll stick to Amazon in future.

It is really difficult to find a member of staff to help you with queries. On a number of occasions, staff come out of the back in pairs. Another niggly habit they have is on click and collect items. They quickly take your order details and say they will collect it from the back but I have found myself loitering around the shop for ages waiting. When I follow up with member of staff and tell them I've been waiting for a while, then miraculously I get my item. I appreciate everyone is busy but the service is shockingly slow

Very knowledgeable members of staff. Made the visit enjoyable.

Friendly staff who were happy to help and answer any questions we had. The staff also seemed knowledgeable about the items they had. There is a lift for people with disabilities who cannot use the stairs to access the second level of the store. Plenty of parking outside and disabled parking is also available. They also offer a pull up service if you're purchasing large items and are happy to help load into your vehicle if required.
