Needed a zip replacing in a cross- country ski boot. Graeme went out of his way to fin the right zip and boot has been repaired to a very high standard for a very reasonable price. Would really recommend and less than 10 mins walk from Union Square so easy to get to.

I gave the guy a broken key so it couldn't just be copied but he worked out what the original key would have looked like and when I tried it in the lock it worked perfectly first time. Very pleasant helpful guy and good prices. Fast and efficient so I hope this kind of review will bring him new business.

I have had shoes resoled, one pair twice now because I wear the soles out much faster than the uppers, and each time the work is immaculate. Also had some leather re-stitched on walking boots, and keys cut. He does a great job on all of them!
Several months back I needed a spare key cut for my flat and my landlord had a hard time getting a cut that fit the door, the owner cut a key for me and it worked perfectly and at a very affordable price.
John is a super lovely man who knows what your shoes need. I have just picked up another bag of shoes which he has patiently heeled and made to look fabulous again for a very reasonable price. I don’t think I’ve ever said who I am, and this time left 3 pairs of loubis, 1 d&g and 1 Valentino. Ladies, this is a man you can trust with your shoes!!!!! And none of those crazy heel tips from the supermarket guys.
Expensive, handmade shoes left for simple sole repair. Owner/manager took trouble to explain how the repair would be executed, answering my questions &setting my mind at rest. Picked up 3 days later for VERY reasonable price
