   I had previously taken my car into a repair shop to address a problem with rust appearing adjacent the rear wheel arch. It was "repaired" and about 6 weeks later blisters appeared. It was returned and re-repaired (I was told they had not treated a wide enough area) and about 6 weeks later even more blistering appeared. I arranged for Jay to examine and quote for the necessary remedial work. He was able to instantly explain that the problem was caused by the fact that the panelling was double walled where it was rusting and the repairs had not been successful because the metal was rusting through from the back and needed to be cut out and replaced, the void filled with a rust proofing treatment and the new section resprayed. When I collected the car, I was shown photographs to illustrate the problem and the remedial work that had been carried out. Not only that, I was given the section of the panel that had been removed and it was very obviously rusting through from the back and that was why the original work was a total waste of time and my money. Jay advised that he had also sprayed Waxoyl in the wheel arch cavity on the other side of the vehicle to help prevent any similar problem developing. I was impressed with the detailed explanation given why the work was required and how it was to be carried out, the photograph evidence provided to show what had actually been done and the fact that the rusted cut out part was kept for inspection. The paint finish was to a very high standard. I feel Jay is very knowledgeable, committed to carrying out work to a very high standard at a reasonable price and is also a very pleasant person to deal with. I feel confident to recommend Jays Autobody Repairs.

   I have used Jays services twice now. He repaired the damage to my F20 and my E90 perfectly. The F20 had damage to the door and frame and honestly I thought I would need a whole new door, but Jay managed to fully mend the issue. He has always been very welcoming and helpful as well. Would not waste my time with any other body repair shop, I will be a life long customer for sure with Jay. Honestly, ring him up, he will fix any damage to your car perfectly.    My Tesla had a shopping trolley scratch on the bumper right through the paint to the plastic body. Jay did an excellent job of filling and paint matching, finishing with a bumper polish. Very capable and friendly, and the quality was spot on, as seen in the other reviews. Tesla owners can be fussy about who repairs their pride & joy, and can thoroughly recommend Jay.

   I took my 2010 5 Series to Jay to have some deep scratches to a front wing repaired and re-painted. The job he did on it was superb, you'd never know there was any damage whatsoever and the paint was able to be applied locally so there's no mismatch between panels. The completed job, the price, and the friendly service easily warrants five stars, every key box ticked. But, if I could give a sixth I would as Jay offered to touch up a large chip on the front wing free-of-charge and when I got home I realised he'd actually cleaned the whole car! This will 100% be the place I'll come back to if I ever need bodywork done again and I will be recommending here to friends.

   I used Jay for a scuff I had on the bumper of my bmw 1 series, The colour was a metallic black so I was worried about a colour match being good. On collection all them worries disappeared. You would have never known there was any damage. Perfect job at a very reasonable price. My car is now damage free and cleaner then when I dropped it off which is a huge saving.    My second time of using Jay on my much loved 03 Omega. Each time Jay has far exceeded my expectations and I cannot praise him enough. He has just resprayed the complete roof which was in a very tired condition. It is now as new and faultless. His attention to detail is outstanding and no effort is spared to achieve the best possible result.
