   I’m delighted to be able to recommend Smash Paintwork - who carried out some rust repairs and paintwork to our much cherished classic Volvo.    A very happy customer. I was introduced to Nico at Smash Paintwork by a very fastidious detailer so from the outset I knew that I was going to receive some quality work on my speed yellow GT3, specifically a front end respray. Note, the front end was to be PPFd after the paint so quality and finish were paramount!! Nico mentioned about 1000 times that it was a very tough colour to blend and match and I wanted to retain as much of the original paint as possible. Nico not only delivered above and beyond with the quality finish but even had the car delivered via covered trailer, superb. What was also really useful if you’re a geek like me, is Nico keeps you updated on WhatsApp every step of the way. If you want a quality job, look no further.

   Proper, genuine five star service from Nico at Smash! From the very start of our interactions, I knew I was on to a winner selecting Smash to revive my MK1 TT’s ageing appearance. He’s responsive, professional, knowledgable and has an attention to detail that’s verging on obsessive, in an ace way! I had the roof, gutter rails, boot, spoiler and front bumper painted. While it was there I asked Nico to look at the metal sills/side skirts too, as I’d spotted a bit of rust. When he sent me photos of what was really lurking underneath them, we agreed to replace both of them with brand new OEM sills, which he protected thoroughly inside and out before painting. The finish and colour match is just fantastic; I’m so so impressed with how it has turned out! It’s like having a new car! Thank you!
