Great little café, food was spot on and hot drink was very tasty. Staff are pleasant and very friendly as were the people who were eating in there which made for a good atmosphere. Cant beat helping local businesses aswell.

Could be so much more than it is... Food ... All day breakfast was - 'bang tidy' the boyfriend demolished it. Jacket pot and cheese - pre packaged, no flavour, barely warm. Decor... Not much going on. Tired, miss matched and uninviting. A grubby feel to it. With a facelift and a bit of TLC it could be so much more. There is a small area to sit outside and its quite nice to watch the comings and goings. Name is misleading - shabby cafe, rather than Lounge

Friendly café that specialises in hearty, basic home cooking. Don't expect a wide array of starters but if you're looking for 1500 calories of full English with toast and plenty of tea then you're in the right place.
Lovely little cafe with cheap breakie and friendly staff. Didn't really look at the rest of the menu seeing we came for breakfast but breakfast was nice and hot, served quick too would highly recommend.
Very good English breakfast (not tried anything else) service is good and whern I place an order over the phone, its always ready. Only complaint - it could do with redecorating but, as cafes go, its a good one
Great breakfast from here, fresh and cooked to order. Prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and polite.
