Dropped by to get a coffee and get out the cold this afternoon, was a few people sat at the tables so we decided to take a seat in the window. Ordered our coffee and cake but when the drinks arrived we were told it was takeaway only so were turfed out. At no point when ordering were we told it was takeaway only and it was clearly obvious we intended to sit in. Only after they had our money and the drinks arrived did they tell us we had to leave. I have been coming here for years as I am local and have recommended coffee and drift to so many friends and family but after today I can say I will never be coming back. Disappointed is a complete understatement as this was one of my favourite places in Lymington but today felt like "we'll take your money then kick you out". It would have been soo easy to say it's takeaway only when we ordered and we would have completely understood.

Wonderful menu of healthy options as well as delicious bakery items and hot food. Highly recommend the granola bowl - looks beautiful and tastes great. Generous portions! Dog friendly also. We had our two pups dine with us indoors. Quite small so there are limited tables indoors but we were able to sit as a table of six as we arrived at opening.

Second visit here, brilliant coffee and we had the brunch menu. Perfect portion sizes for a large appetite. They had home made baked beans on the specials, they were amazing!!! Helpful and friendly staff

Went to the Coffee and Drift this morning, the opening times on the door said it opens at 8.30am, it was 8.53am when we entered the cafe only to be told they didn’t open till 9.00am. It was pouring with rain so we asked if we could sit inside and wait, we were told no because they needed to set the tables, so we stood outside in a doorway until 9.00am before going in. The table’s didn’t look any different. We then ordered two bowls of granola and a hot breakfast sandwich and asked if the hot sandwich could be served after we had eaten the granola, but the girl serving seem to make a big issue about it stating that they don’t normally operate that way and it depended how busy they were but she was quite rude to the point that we nearly didn’t bother. Because we had been before and enjoyed the food we decided to stay. The girl who brought the breakfast over was nice and helpful and the food was excellent, but it was just the attitude of the girl serving us and the fact that we had to stand outside in the rain that has really annoyed us to the point of writing this review. Good food but could have been more accommodating.

Visited the cafe today which was in a great location and overall all it looked great. I may have missed this on the website, but there was no seating inside, so felt limited on my food choice as there were not tables free outside, unfortunately, pancakes aren't easy on the move. The Acai bowl and the overnight oats were very nice, the portion size was fair but I felt it was a little expensive. However, I'd imagine the ingredients were fresh so that may be the reason which is understandable. It's always nice to support local business and is worth a visit Coffee was good too!!!
