Immaculate cafe serving quality coffee, wonderful bakery and really lovely genuine couple who work so hard. We go as much as we can for the coffee and great bread. Having a bad stomach it's the only bread that doesn't make me feel unwell.
I come to U.K. quite frequently & this is one of the first places I always visit. The proprietors know me and are always friendly, know my regular Americana drink. The desserts are wonderful & the attention to service is always 1st class!! There’s always a table available. Be sure to take home some of the candies as they are special too! If you visit Melbourne, be sure to stop at Forteys for a coffee & special dessert treat!! You won’t be disappointed…I promise!!
Always come here for coffee and food, have done for years. Friendly owners Laura and Richard always have time for a chat, and make you feel welcome. Best cafe in the area, serves consistently good drinks. Definitely recommend.
Toilets upstairs, at least you have to go up more than 10 staires. It is not suitable for the disabled person. When you ask some questions the way they answer the tone is rude, you can't continue. Food is so expensive to eat there. They add more than 20% on every item even on tea and coffee. When I asked they said you pay taxes and our services. Why should we pay taxes to you? Why should we pay service charges? This shop much expensive than coffee shop in London

Came in on a journey for work to grab a bite and a drink. Fabulous coffee, delicious sausage roll with pickle, beautiful bit of tiffin and most importantly a lovely atmosphere with really welcoming staff who answered all my questions with a smile. A proper coffee shop and a really lovely place to stop, can’t recommend highly enough.
