Long wait to get served. 2 young girls where busy training which left 1 lady serving. It always seems to be dirty in there. Tables are always left with other people's dirty cups on them and never cleared. I must need a job there as I always clear it just to get seated.
Great place to sit and relax - right in the heart of the shopping centre and very clean Disabled toilets and child friendly -
Sat in Costa Derby for 15 minutes my husband asked for the table to be cleared and still waiting even after we had got our drinks, in fact there are lots of tables with dirty pots on them and this is regular at this Costa in the centre shopping mall.
A beautiful place to relax and drink your morning coffee. If you like quiet, come at eight in the morning. Our best days are drinking your favourite coffee.
I've classed the coffee as food since I only had a take-out drink this visit. However, the cafe was clean, staff were friendly and my drink as always tasted good. Lost a star as it was less than 20% occupied so atmosphere wasn't as lively as other Costa Coffees I have visited.
Staff manage to serve without even looking at you, very miserable. Bacon roll with two tiny, miserable rashers of bacon. Tables cluttered, and rubbish everywhere. Servers preparing drinks and putting their fingers inside clean cups. So sorry but a big ‘No’ from me. Is there actually a manager here or don’t they care?
The place has gone downhill. Now go in once a month, whereas it used to be 4-5 a week Hot chocolate? More like cold/luke warm. Cinnamon not offered on a chai, been like this for weeks. New loyalty scheme waste of time.
My favourite place to go get a coffee and muffin, sit in one of their tall-backed winged chairs and read a book or watch people go buy through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Great place to relax with friends or sit on a laptop and get some work done. Friendly staff, great coffee and a good atmosphere. Couldn't fault it.
