Came on a Sunday late afternoon when nobody else was in the store. 5 members of staff working including a trainee on the tills seemingly with little to no support. The others seemed to be doing not a lot, with one repeatedly polishing the same bit of the coffee machine for ages. Ordered two hot chocolates (one mint one orange) and two pieces of cake and took ten minutes of standing at the counter for us to receive the drinks which were half full and the cream wasn't really whipped (I saw the guy keep shaking it as it was pouring out rather than spraying). The marshmallows were melted into the drink already. We sent these back and asked for fresh and were asked to take a seat and he'd bring them over, but finding in a table in this empty cafe was difficult as every table or chair was filthy with spilt coffee on it. Found one eventually and the drinks came over - not the mint one I ordered though, so sent back again. Finally got what we ordered but realised we were charged for 2 Orange ones which costs more (only 40p more but annoying when you've already paid over £18 for the privilege of rubbish service). Cake was a bit lacklustre and stale, drinks ok but not worth the price. Probably won't be back to another Costa again.

The staff are so RUDE! And never got a smile on their face. When you ask for sugar or anything in the store they rude and chuck it at you. NEVER FILL THE CUP TO THE TOP ALWAYS HALF EMPTY! You don’t get what you’re paying for.
Great place if you get the right seat. Staff pleasant, great coffee and food
Disappointing outlet, like trying to eat in an office with too many tables being held by computer working. Would suggest having a designated number of tables in a designated area for this type of activity. Let more families in to eat rather than one or two people with laptops hogging a 4 seater table.
Core staff hugely friendly and helpful every single visit. That makes a difference - no one wants a grumpy or rude coffee experience. It's still mass produced coffee but the coffee here is always good (some other Costa outlets and yes other well known brand coffee outlets are torturing the beans or something as the coffee can taste bitter and foul). These guys get it right. Give them a pay rise.
