The guys at Regal Autosport did a tremendous job on my land rover defender, which certainly served up a few curve balls. Communication was good and they sorted the warranty issues too. When a small snag required sorting it was done efficiently and with good grace. I would certainly recommend Regal, excellent service.
From first call to reception to collection, Dan and the team were great. They fitted me in last minute and I got my car back within 2 hours. The communication was great, professional service and I drove away with confidence that I was treated fairly and the works completed were appropriate and well explained. Dan even gave me some useful info about my car for future reference. Highly recommend and will use again.
The usual MOT and service was carried out in a timely manner. We received a telephone call to discuss the issues that arose and our wishes were acted upon. Regal autos can always be trusted to give your vehicle back to you driving better than it did before. The best thing about Regal is they speak to you respectfully, if you are unsure of anything just ask and they will explain it.
I recently purchased a Bilstein B12 Pro kit for my 2010 BMW E91 335d from Regal Autosport and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish the communication was excellent, the price was very competitive, and the whole process was hassle-free. To top it off, the kit arrived three weeks earlier than the estimated lead time, which was a fantastic surprise. I have a 2018 MK7.5 Golf R Estate. Just had a great experience having Stage 1 Racingline ECU/TCU , plus Racing line R600 Intake, R600 High Flow Turbo Inlet, Racingline Turbo Muffler Delete. The performance increase is fantastic for this platform. 360BHp / 580Nm Torque - Impressive!. The Service and location was fantastic. Great Team in Southampton. I would 100% highly recommend. Helpful from start to finish.
Had works carried out years ago by Regal on our VW. -Anti roll bars fitted on incorrect settings (not as requested) -Wheel alignment completely out after 2 attempts (took elsewhere to get it corrected and they issued refund upon printout) -Installed aftermarket drop links & charging additional (without informing me) -Installed exhaust catback incorrectly (blowing, off centre and wasn't aligned) took the car to Scorpion Exhausts,refitted the system correctly free of charge and covered travel costs. Personally I would never use them again, and would recommend going elsewhere. I'd also never buy a vehicle they've worked on. No "improvements" made over the years would change my view and experience of them.
Cautionary Tale I was advised to take my car to this company for diagnosis. Having been quoted £150 (for diagnosis only) in writing by their reception staff, I was eventually charged £300 and £112.50 for diagnosis work only. The staff member was in full knowledge of what I was quoted but the company proceeded to overcharge me by a significant amount. I subsequently complained to their senior management and after 2 or 3 communications I was reimbursed £262.50 with a written admission of overcharging. I am firmly of the opinion that the reception staff were 100% aware of the ridiculous discrepancy between the quotation and final invoices charged. Most importantly customers should be treated with both personal and financial respect. However, I would like to express my thanks to management for their detailed replies and reimbursement regarding overcharging; whether intentional or inadvertent.
