   Got all the furniture I needed for my flat at a good price and delivered very good service... Just been back.in and hopefully will start volunteering here in due course Rebecca was very pleasant to talk too and professional (sorry about the phone) a lot of good services on offer and the food bank is very good also...

   I had previously had great experiences there. But recently when I went to donate a staff member was unbelievably rude and aggressive towards me over nothing. I tried to donate 2 pine nesting tables which I had no room for and she accused me of “trying to leave my rubbish with them”. I was taken aback and embarrassed as people walking by on the street were staring at her raising her voice at me. It’s one thing to not want to accept a donation but it’s plain rude to shout and call items I happily used until I couldn’t fit them in my house anymore rubbish. I left in tears. I made a complaint to the company who responded along the lines of, “we’re sorry if you were upset” which is basically not even a real apology. Will donate and shop elsewhere in the future. Hope they treat the food bank recipients better.

   I have used this service quite a few times over nearly 10 years and was upset to be met with extremely rude furniture collectors when I arranged a furniture pick up today. The two young men were extremely loud and rude, rang the wrong doorbells disturbing my neighbours and then instead of following me into my flat, they stood in the hallway, shouting and yelling about “being confused”. I had to come back into the hallway to try and lead them into the bottom floor flat, where they continued to what felt like make fun of me and treat me like an idiot. As a young woman in her flat this made me feel quite awful and unsafe. They then proceeded to take one look at the chest of drawers and not take them. Whether this was true or they couldn’t be bothered to lift it I’m unsure. I never usually leave a review or get in touch to complain about any service, especially a CHARITY, but I couldn’t believe how upset they had made me in such a short space of time. I will definitely not be using this service again unfortunately. Warning to other young women who might like to use this service.

   Great organization with an important mission. It was a great place to look for second hand furniture. They have nice housewares and tested electronics too. We had to purchase things for our flat, there was delivery available for a reasonable price. I don’t know what we would have done for getting our couch if this hadn’t been an option. Very grateful for this service! Thank you instant neighbor!

   Upon my visit lots of staff but zero help of any kind. As I entered a man is his sixties had nought table and asked for help getting into his car. Staff told him they were too busy. I did not enjoy visit and left quickly.
