Booked in to get two wheels balanced and tracking checked. Protyre completed the task but observed a buckling of the nearside front. We're very quick to recommend someone to do the repair which was complete two days later. Thank you Dan and the team at Protyre for all your help.
Just want to say what a great experience I just had with Protyre at Eastleigh this morning. The guys went above and beyond to realign my steering wheel and They havegot it spot-on. Thanks for Your help chaps
An oasis of calm, not often you can say that about a tyre shop, very helpful on two occasions trying to find my mystery slow puncture and didn't even charge for the time they spent on it, also they were polite and not condescending which is refreshing these days. I would happily recommend them.
Paid for tracking at an auto centre in Hedge End. They were awful. Tracking still out and the steering wheel ended up completely off centre, this was after I pointed out they had only tracked the front and it had to go back in! Anyway! Brought it in to Pro Tyre, and what a contrast! Great efficient service with a four wheel alignment and managed to re-centre the steering wheel first go! Car drives the best it has in years. Great communication from their office. Will definitely be using you again in future!
We had a puncture the day of my mother-in-law's birthday and had a meal to get to. We only have the one car so we had to get it repaired. We had an appointment booked for midday and they managed to see us earlier than that. The tyre was repaired and we were back on the road inside 30 mins. Great service and so easy to get to. Will definitely be using them again for car maintenance in the future.
Great service, got me in the next day to investigate a slow puncture on my Tesla. They asked me if I had jack pads to lift the Tesla not all places know to use jack pads for Teslas. They found the nail and repaired the tyre for £30. Didn't suggest i needed a new tyre like some places might. Friendly staff happy to answer any questions.
If you value your time - don't bother. Purchased the tyres and balancing via ASDA tyres and was given an hour's slot. I had a day busy with appointments and other things, so timing really mattered. Has to be said I was 8 minutes late for my appointment due to the traffic, and I accept my responsibility entirely. After another 10 minute wait at the reception I was told the car won't be ready for 1.5 hrs because I missed my slot. Really? Missed my hour's slot by 8 minutes? Appreciate it can get busy, but get your act together and don't take on more work than you can handle. Drove away and had tyres fitted at Eastleigh ASDA straight away in less than half an hour. Highly recommend, it's 5 minutes drive away from this place a d you can do your shopping while you wait. Upd: Thank you for your offer to follow up below, but I don't think there is a need for it. You should rather invest some time in managing your reception staff and the workload. I have spoken to ASDA customer services and got my refund as well as an apology. You don't do this friendly brand name any justice.

It was an ok experience. Dropped the car off, accomodating to me turning up 30 mins before their official opening time to leave the keys with them. Added on front wheel alignment which they were unable to do due to the ramp being broken - not their fault and can't be helped. My biggest annoyance was that the alloygators they said they could refit were not refitted properly and by the time I got home were hanging off. Had to deflate tyres and refit them properly myself. Don't know why tyre places have such issues with these as they are perfectly easy enough to fit as a DIY'er!
As predicted, removed the tyre soap they'd left on to find both of my front alloys scratched. They were immaculate and being black they now have big white scratches in them. A basic lack of care and respect with other people's property. Update...... protyre agreed to repair my alloys unfortunately it took over a month. It took two weeks of me phoning which was ignored, leaving voicemail messages that were ignored, WhatsApp messages that were ignored, until I'd managed to hold of someone else via email. The "area manager" actively ignores any attempted to contact them..... whilst my car was with them over night for the alloys to be repaired one of my other alloys that were completely immaculate was damaged even worse than the ones being repaired. The car hadn't be washed for over two months and as a result the wheels were filthy, Someone had clearly done it and then run there thumb around the rim and the other side to see if they could get away with it but then obviously realised they were immaculate. I was told this was because they had seen the damage and wanted to check which ones they were actually repairing despite it being written on the paper work which alloys were damaged to start with, they then blamed my wife. They said cctv was on my car the entire 36hrs that they had it and they would check to see what had happened, which was laughable as it wasn't under cctv where it was currently parked. Unsurprisingly no one has contacted me and no one is responding to my contact attempts. I originally went to them with four immaculate refurbed alloys, then I had two, now I only have three...Utter bunch of monkeys and total liars who can't be trusted. I wouldn't care if they'd damaged them and admitted to it as it would have been an accident, but they have to lie to save themselves 50 quid.
