Used to be ok value, but prices have now increased beyond what is reasonable for such below average food. Quality of food has become laughably low, no effort in presentation. Soup on last three visits has been bland. Hair found in sandwich during last visit (no real apology given / refund). Staff appear completely disinterested. Won’t be back now.

Simply exquisite food and service. After multiple experiences at this establishment I must say I am very pleased with the quality of food, drinks and especially the wonderful staff who are very friendly. The facilities are simply spotless and can not fault the effort put in to ensure the highest quality of cleanliness. Will be returning as soon as possible. #happy customer

The value for money is fantastic. Super reasonable and the food/drink has always been lovely- which makes it really unfortunate that the staff do not manage the place well and really let it down. I’ve visited a few times as the reviews are so good I put down my bad experience to being an off day. Whenever I go in, regardless of how quiet or busy it is, all the empty tables are filthy. My last visit, only 3 tables were occupied and the rest were all covered in dishes. We sat down at one expecting it to be cleaned at some point. I went and ordered our food and drinks, which took 40 minutes to come (this I was already surprised at, due to there being 3/4 staff on and all the other tables already having their food) and then the person bringing our order over came up to see the dirty table. She had to sit our food on the dirty table beside ours, added the dishes to the pile on the other table and without so much as wiping ours down, served our food. She then proceeded to go back behind the till and continue her conversation, leaving all the other dirty tables as they were, despite having now acknowledged the dirty plates and mugs. In addition to this, I’ve never actually found any staff I’ve had dealings with particularly friendly. My partner suggested it was possibly because they were all very young- however I disagree as it’s not uncommon for younger people/students to be working in the food/drink industry and I can’t say I’ve ever noticed it before. As I said, this is the sort of thing I’ve witnessed in the 5/6 times I’ve visited and after speaking to a friend who lives on the street and has visited too, she agreed- so I find it difficult to believe that it’s just been chance on those visits. Due to the value and quality, I probably would visit again but only to take away.

First time visiting, nothing special about the place and quiet like a library no atmosphere. Ordered a hot chocolate and DECAF mocha. Was offered marshmallows on my hot chocolate that were missing when the drink arrived and my partner had the mocha but after an hour (when we had already left) it was apparent that he wasn’t served a decaf and in fact caffeinated coffee which lead him to anxiety, stomach issues and sweats for the processing hours. Obv there is no different in taste between caffeine and decaf especially when it comes to a mocha. Cheap but I think there’s a reason for this. We like to try to support local but I’d rather have went to Starbucks where my order would have been correct and the seating would have been comfortable

Fantastic prices and menu! No overwhelming COVID Restrictions signs to ruin the ambiance, still cozy compared to other cafes these days. Great food options there's vegan and vegetarian for a brunch or lunch date. Plenty of coffee and hot drinks to choose from, also offers alternative milk at no extra cost. Pet friendly, provides water bowls and vases of water for your pets. Plenty of seating.

Very friendly service and coffee was nice. But maybe I picked the wrong time to go with half dozen mums around with screening babies it become unbearable I left.
