   I have been visiting Salon 55 for 10+ years. All the staff are extremely knowledgable, friendly and professional. My colour and extensions always look fantastic every time I leave the salon. The team are continuously adding to their already impressive knowledge by attending regular training. The salon is modern and the additional little touches, including a cheeky alcoholic beverage are perfect! There is honestly no where else I would go to get my hair done.

   I had my hair coloured and extensions fitted at this salon. The colour match and quality of beauty works hair was fab BUT the fitting of the extensions... not so much. The application of hair was extremely painful during and after, I know a little pain is expected after, while your hair adjusts to the weight of new hair but it was atrocious and left me with a migraine for days due to the beads of hair pulling to close to my scalp. I had lost several pieces of hair in the first few days ripping my natural hair out with it (see attached photo) and 3 weeks later l had lost 25 bits of hair (a massive amount), the hair that was left was hanging on by a thread of my natural hair. Honestly, not what I expected, having spent a total of £554.50 for the services and hair. I did contact the salon to discuss this issue and was offered for them to refit them for free by a "more senior member of staff". I declined as I had them checked by a different business (one that specialises in only extensions) who explained to me why they destroyed my hair and what was done incorrectly by the salon. I have since had the hair purchased at this salon refitted by a different business and they have been in my hair for over a month with 0 pain and 0 of them have come out. It would have been nice if I were offered a refund for ONLY the fitting when I declined the free refit Instead I got "well I don't really know what else I can do for you". A crazy response when I have spent a lot of money. I appreciate the free refit offer but it's not ideal when it’s been done incorrectly and I’m left with damage to my hair.

   As always, Ellie is excellent. Gave me a great haircut, is always friendly, polite and makes time to help others too. Today it was another customer who needed assistance. She asked if I minded (I didn't) and quickly sorted the problem and managed to get my hair done in 45 minutes so I could rush back to work. Thank you!

   I can’t recommend Salon 55 enough. The staff are always friendly and ready to assist you. The salon itself is stunning as well as clean. Stacey has been doing my hair for over 8 years now and everytime helps guide me with colours that will suit and the results each time are perfect. 100% recommend!!
