About five months ago I hesitantly took the plunge and bought a seven year old low mileage AR Giulia Veloce. I was ‘warned’ about electrical glitches but hey she’s gorgeous! Joined the owners club and asked members about servicing as I wanted a major service doing by a specialist. AR Autos were recommended by several people and they are only 40 minutes down the road! Really friendly staff who obviously know their onions, modern clean and busy workshop. Prices are surprisingly good especially when these guys are obviously Alfa and Fiat boffins. Very experienced in everything Alfa and fiat, and even car makes beyond that. I will not bring my car to anyone else for servicing, repairs, MOT’s and anything else. We have been using AR since they have opened and what a service they provide! They are so realisable, honest and fair with there pricing. I recently discovered AR while looking for a knowledgeable specialist to take car of my Giulia. Now used AR 3 times including cam belt change and mapping. Zoe the site manager is probably the best service coordinator I have dealt with, very friendly, helpful, polite and efficient. Antony is extremely knowledgeable and a good source of advice too, he is also an Alfa enthusiast. On his advice i had the engine re-mapped and the results were everything he said it would be. The prices for service are very reasonable and with a great pick-up and return service. I will continue to use AR in the future, great company with a great attitude. Nick Clarke
I have used AR Autos a number of times now for a variety services and work on my Abarth 595. Each time they have been extremely professional and accommodating. Zoe is extremely good at keeping in contact with you and helping you on the day, whilst the mechanic team waste no time in getting to work. My last visit I had a service and map performed and I was able to wait for it to be finished in their comfortable and well decorated reception area. The map has changed my car dramatically for the better, not only has my smiles for miles increased but I have noticed better mpg and the car running smoother. I will be using them in the future and recommending them to my pals!
Quoted a very fair price for a Cam Belt and Water Pump do my Alfa Romeo Giulia. Collected car from home. Kept informed of what would happen. Glitch with a part that they were not happy to fit. New part ordered. All sorted and delivered back. Good service nice people to speak to. Give them a try.
