Used and recommended this garage for past two years but feel they maybe over stretching themselves at the expense of their customers. After having my car all day for booked in works and not even looking at it!
Best garage I have ever dealt with. Although I've moved away from the waterside area I still drive the 20 odd miles to get my car worked on here. Recommended parents, grandparents and my partner to come here and they all agree it's immaculate service. They tell you pricing before doing any work, so the price you hear is what you get on arrival to pick up. They were also a life saver when I got 'ecoboomed' by ford and their wet cam belt.
Ruben and the entire team at shawfix have always been very honest and reliable when dealing with my cars. I have been there for the last 7 years and the service has been flawless. Recently they even dealt with a second hand car I bought and it was covered under warranty. Ruben dealt with the warranty company directly and informed me all the way.
Just used Shawfix for the first time, they rang me to say a part I had been told I needed wasn't in fact required. The told me, they didn't want to charge me for it when it wasn't needed, how often do you get that kind of service from a car repair/garage? I'll definitely be using them again. Tried to charge me 150% more than other garages following failed MOT. Said one thing needed replacing fully when it was only a fuse that needed replacing instead of the entire part. Spoke to a few friends about this and they have either had the same experience or know people that have had the same thing happen. Wouldn’t recommend.

Always great service and they know what they're doing so won't mess you about. Solved a complex problem that was difficult to diagnose and the car drives beautifully. Also got them to clear the foggy glass on the headlamps and they look a treat. Thanks guys!
I really rate these guys. I've tried a few different garages in Hythe but these are the ones I tend to stick with now. They will do their best to fit you in, they are fair and balanced with their customers and do exactly as you ask, even swapping out their courtesy car because your wife won't drive a "big" car. Thumbs up from me.
I arranged through Black circles to have new tyres fitted to my car, Shawfix took great care with the car and the expensive diamond cut alloys in the fitting process, absolutely pleased as punch with service received and will be returning for all my future needs
