   I cannot say a bad word about this Salon. All the stylists are fabulous, professional, skilled, friendly and they go above and beyond for their customers. I always feel amazing after my appointments. Some salons charge ridiculous prices but Salon 16 give great value for money. I wouldn't hesistate to recommend this salon to new customers.

   I love this salon. Lisa is fab, she is so friendly and down to earth and she always makes my hair look and feel beautiful. We always have a jolly good giggle and to me this makes my experience all the better. I met Tina yesterday - lovely lady and she has a wicked sense of humour!    My partner trusted Salon 16 to colour her hair properly. She was looking to darken her hair colour, but instead they bleached her hair, making it lighter, and in the process killed her natural hair. She was absolutely devastated and appalled. She’s since stopped using them and has found a new salon. She will never go back there, and I don’t blame her. I wouldn’t want her, or anyone, going there is that is how they treat customers. They showed no remorse for their actions. Disgraceful salon!

   First time for my wife and daughter at Salon 16 and it was absolute disaster! We called before hand to get advice and a quote. £17 for a trim for my daughter who is 4 and my wife was £30 for a wash and dry haircut. My daughter was first and her hair was washed, cut and blow dried which was not asked for nor advised over the phone. £17 went up £25 for the use of a hair dryer which we didn't ask for and my daughter's hair doesn't even look great. My wife was next and didn't get hair washed but they straightened her hair before cutting it which doesn't even look like it's been cut. The reason for straightening it was "to find out how much she can cut" and she had over 30 years experience. My wife's hair was already straightened beforehand and anyone with "30 years experience" must of been able to spot that. Very sad to use a service not asked for to get additional £8. It's not the money but the principle that a quote should be honoured. When I came to ask the receptionist and give some feedback, she laughed at my face. I advised that a quote was provided over the phone and you added £8 when we didn't ask for it. She walked off while I was talking as i found it very rude and disrespectful. She went to talk to a manager but didn't come back and I left the salon as a customer tried to rectify the issue. The staff were unprofessional, rude and clearly didn't see anything wrong with what they did. They put the blame on someone else who gave the quote but apparently weren't there to speak for themselves and had no intention to apologise and give adequate customer service. My wife wasn't very happy and that's the first and last time going to Salon 16. Charging a 4 year £25 for a haircut is appalling!! Avoid Salon 16 - poor service, rude, con artists!!

   Was clear on the phone when booking the appointment that it was for my Grandmother. Checked pricelist on their webpage. Charged my Gran normal price not OAP price because it wasn't the right day (we could have been Informed?) and then informed prices on their website were wrong. My gran was otherwise happy with the styling but felt disappointed that they were not clearer with the pricing.
