   Guys, You deserve this kind of care and attention for your regular grooming...You're Worth It! I have been having an awesome Barber experience at Sonning Tonsorium since pre-Covid. I was getting bored (and jealous of my wife's hair care experiences) of the standard 10 minute buzz cut, queuing up on a dirty leatherette bench with a load of smelly guys on a Saturday morning. On top of this, the rolled eyes when I had started to ask for semi-professional scissor cuts. I was also looking for some buddy time sharing some of life's struggles, as at the time I wasn't brave enough to share with close friends. I found Sonning Tonsorium online. All I needed to see was the images of the one chair tonsorium. It looked personal, creative, slightly bonkers and of character. It looked like I would have a great experience compared to the standard men's barbers. On top of that, Graeme's international winding road to becoming a professional Barber fascinated me. I travel a lot and for long periods of time, and so I have not been as regular a customer as I would like, but I always come away feeling a happier more confident guy than the one that walked in. It's like meeting up with a best mate. There is never any rush. That's not to say he's not busy, he has so many regular long-term clients that there is always a need to book a couple of appointments in advance. As per the norm, Graeme gets the mirror out at the end of your cut to show you what it looks like from behind, I do put my spectacles back on, but I don't really look...I have no need to, I know it is going to be a great cut. Yesterday, I went in to have a hair cut and wet cut throat shave. Until this date I had only had a barber's cut throat razor shave at "Trumpers" up in London. I occasionally go up for a treat pre-xmas. Graeme's was just as good (I felt like a million dollars) and a fraction of the price when bundled with a cut. The music in the background is always non-mainstream Latin (South) American for me...incredible atmosphere.

   Appointment Only I have had the pleasure of using Sonning Tonsorium for the past several months. I really appreciate the appointment-only barbershop, it means no queue or busy environment. The service is personal. Booking my appointment was easy and convenient through their online system, which allowed me to choose a time slot that worked perfectly for my schedule. Also parking is easy. The salon has an interesting interior, which created a welcoming atmosphere. I always have a consultation with Graeme before every cut, and great conversation throughout makes you feel as ease. Overall a great experience, cut and customer service!

   Graeme doesn't just cut your hair, he provides an experience. He clearly has passion and pride in what he does, his work space is really interesting and reflects this, he does an incredibly thorough and attentive job, asked me lots of questions to make absolutely sure what I wanted, and on top of all that he's a really sound guy with lots of interesting stories haha. I am VERY happy with the quality of the cut provided and overall service and will be returning.

   The best hair and beard cut I've had, period. Extremely knowledgeable, awesome atmosphere, clean and tidy, and an all round great barber. I've never felt rushed, unlike a number of other barbers I've visited, and it shows in the cut. Highly recommend.

   Graeme is an absolute wizard of a barber he quite literally performs magic. I have travelled the world and Seven Seas and never met such a talented barber in my life. The attention to detail, craft and barbering skills of Graeme are nothing short of miraculous. I say this without a hint of hyperbole. If you have not had your haircut by Graeme you have not experienced one of the best male barbers ever. Also of note is the immersive experience Graeme has created in his studio. This is top notch giving the feeling you are in a traditional unashamedly male grooming environment. Best haircuts I've ever had and I've been around the block a few times.
