    First time i had tried this place. Bought my grandson to get his haircut. The lady at the desk was sat playing on her phone whilst i struggled to get in the door. There was hair all over the floor. When asked if we could try and do his hair she said ‘well we can try but i don't know what i can do’. I should have asked then how much it would cost because it cost £14! For an 18month old haircut (which wasn't finished i might add)Ridiculous! The lady proceeded to try and cut his hair but he wasn’t having any of it. She didn’t talk to him or even try to reassure him, just kept tutting and huffing when he moved. I got the impression that we were inconveniencing her. In the end i said that would be enough as he was getting upset. I think we had a couple of inches in place taken off due to his fidgetiness and lack of cooperation. The lady then gave me the brush to brush him down and went and sat back at the reception desk and played on her phone. When i sorted my grandson out i went over and paid which was when i was told it was £14! Disgusting. I will not be taking him there again. For a place that has a car in the window for kids to sit in that indicates they are child friendly they are not.

    Been here 3 times now, staff reasonably friendly but haircuts poor. Twice now I have asked specifically for the top not to be cut and they’ve done it anyway. Also charged more for a fade when I went from a grade 2 to 3 on the sides... hardly a fade! I assume it’s because fades take longer... she spent about 15 mins on me but about 40 on the person before me, I was still charged more! Plenty of other places in caversham to try anyway.

    I take my son here because of the toy basket while he waits and sometimes he gets a sweet afterwards! Staff friendly enough and happy to chat over hair styles (my son doesn't have a 'regular' cut yet). There is sometimes a bit of a wait if you catch them when only one of the girls are on duty. I'll definitely use again.

    Opening hours are good, it's cheap but the quality of cuts is sometimes a bit variable. Was once there, as a foreigner, while someone cutting the hair was bemoaning foreigners in this country. Most of the people working there were are foreigners, so it was quite an uncomfortable situation.
