   I’ve been going to Citrine for about a year, but after my most recent visit I won’t be returning. I asked to have my acrylics removed and to receive a manicure without nail polish. What I received was not a proper manicure. My nails were left uneven, not rounded as requested, and extremely dry. No oil, moisturiser, or aftercare was provided, and I can still feel leftover acrylic on my nails, meaning they weren’t removed properly. My skin even turned white during the removal process, which makes me think my hands were placed directly into acetone—something that should be done with more care and better technique. I was also told in the past that acrylics don’t damage nails if removed correctly, but mine now look awful after their removal. The whole experience felt rushed and careless, and it seemed as though the level of service drops dramatically once you’re not paying for new extensions or polish. I needed the acrylics taken off because of an upcoming operation, and I expected a basic, proper manicure. Unfortunately, this salon did not provide that. Very disappointing overall, and I’ll be going to a trained nail technician elsewhere who actually prioritises nail health and proper technique.

   Was not a nice experience. Booked an appointment but not sure why as was 25 minutes behind schedule when I got there. Really impersonal experience. Felt like a factory churning you out. And no interaction with me. 3 days later my manicure is chipped and looks manky. Despite not having done any cleaning or anything. I literally flew on holiday 48 later and it was chipped by time I landed. Never had that happen despite many gel manicures. So disappointed. Definitely never going back.

   I had a bad experience here previously but then got contacted by Tia who offered to redo my nails for me free of charge. The second time round it has been done beautifully. Thank you so much girls, I am happy and can recommend this salon now :)

   Citrine Spa is exceptionally clean and pristine and I felt warmly welcome. They have fresh drinks available. I was well accommodated for my personal preferences—I requested a classic pedicure without any chemicals or gel. The staff was patient and took great care of my feet.

   I have been going to Citrine for years, from the first salon in Andover & moving across to the Basingstoke salon when it first opened 5 years ago. Harry & the team are wonderful. Never have any issues with my nails. The pedicures are great, and they help when I am indecisive (which is basically every time). The products are all quality products & the team all work to an extremely high standard. I would recommend Citrine to everyone!!! From day to day nails, my holiday nails, Christmas nails & my wedding nails, I’ll never go anywhere else! Thank you team!

   Walk in appointment for pedicure with my daughter having been here several times previously for gel pedicure. Description of service includes polish removal, apparently there is an extra charge for gel removal which isn't specified and took around 2 minutes. My daughter's pedicure was complete in about 20 minutes, service description says around 40 minutes so this was definitely rushed. Mine was thorough but I had to re-file myself when I got home due to them not being straight, did offer to fix after I mentioned when I paid but by then I had my socks and shoes on and car park ticket was running out. Unsure if I'll be back, feel that £36 each for such a difference in service could be spent at an alternative salon that's actually consistent and cares about customer experience.

   The shop is very clean and the people are extremely friendly. They are very talented and can do your nails any way you want. I went for a pedicure and dipping manicure and I am very pleased with the results. Prices are very reasonable!!

   I chose to get a full set of acrylics and gel polish on top with a cute disney design. Lady who did my nails checked in at every step to make sure I was happy with the shape and length and design/colours. Very happy with my nails! Would recommend:) *Went a second time and got ombre acrylics, beautiful nails super happy with them!! Would definitely recommend :) paid £45 for them
