Absolutely loved my experience here! The salon was clean, relaxing, and very welcoming. My nails turned out beautiful exactly what I asked for. The staff was friendly, professional, and took their time to make sure everything was perfect. Prices were reasonable and the quality was excellent and recommending this place to others
Just wanted to share my wonderful experience that I had today at Kim's Nail salon. The staff were wonderful! So friendly, helpful and attentive (they really looked after me as it was my first time getting my nails done and I am heavily pregnant). Tony did a wonderful job with the nail design that I wanted, I think his version was even better than the picture I showed him. Thank you Tony! I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend this lovely place to everyone.
I came in with picture of a Halloween design and the ladies at Kim’s nails were so accommodating and friendly and so talented they done the exact design I wanted and it wasn’t an easy design and took them a while to do they were very professional and wanted every detail to be perfect. From the moment I walked in, the salon had a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything looked clean, well-organized, and hygienic, which immediately put me at ease. Now let’s talk about Tracy—what an absolute gem! She was so polite, professional, and clearly skilled at her craft. Right from the start, she took the time to ask me exactly what I wanted, showing me color options and designs without rushing me. I went in unsure of exactly what I wanted, but she helped guide me to the perfect style, and the result was even better than I expected. Her attention to detail is amazing. She made sure each nail was shaped perfectly and smooth, and the polish application was flawless. I’ve been to other nail salons before, but Tracy genuinely stood out—she was gentle, precise, and took her time to make sure everything looked perfect. Even the way she applied the cuticle oil and gave a light hand massage at the end made the whole experience feel relaxing and luxurious. What I also appreciated was how clean and organized her station was. She used sanitized tools, wore gloves, and was very mindful of hygiene throughout. It really shows that she cares about both the work she does and the comfort and safety of her clients. It’s been a few days since my appointment, and my nails still look fresh and glossy, without a single chip or flaw. I’ve already received several compliments, and I’ve been telling everyone about Tracy at Kim’s Nails. If you’re looking for a nail technician who’s not only talented but also sweet, professional, and committed to making sure you walk out happy, Tracy is the one to ask for. I came in this morning as a walk in - and everyone was very welcoming. Seen within 30 seconds - and they had so much choice in colours! I choose my colour and left the nail art for them to choose. They told me the price before they started - made me a cup of tea whilst I was having my nails done - and the chap doing them checked, shape, length, colour and design at each point. He did a fantastic job - and I’ve had lots of compliments on them. I will be back soon without a doubt.
Really lovely place. Good quality for the price. They offer a pampering service with tea and coffee unlike any of the other nail bars in town. I really don't understand why this place isn't busier then Apple as personally I think it's a lot better. Highly recommend. :)
I have been going to kim for years, always get a great service. I went for my normal infills on Sunday. Whilst Kim wasn't their her daughter Tracy done a fabulous job. The salon was so busy as they are the only nail salon in Basingstoke to open on a Sunday. They all done so well keeping the salon going. Ok yes there was some rude clients but Tracy and Co you all done so well and once again gave me and my sister in law beautiful sets and my 4year old daughter absolutely loves her oink glitter nail polish.
