   Edit: This review is indeed for the Basingstoke salon. My appointments have always been walk in and no details have ever been collected from me. I have used this place a few times over the years and I find them to be very rude and disrespectful. You ask them questions or advice on your treatment and they act like it is a huge problem. The very last time I used this place I witnessed an elder gentleman speaking to a client getting her nails done in the most appalling manner. He even stood up and started doing another client’s nails as he was in the middle of her treatment. I was shocked by this lack of professionalism and equally disgusted. My nails were done so poorly that I did not want to come back for them to correct. I swore I would never go back after that. I have now started using a different place in town, I wish I had done this sooner. My advice to anyone thinking about using coco’s nails. DON’T.

   Visited Coco's Nails on 31st Dec. This was my first ever experience of a nail bar salon. I pre-booked my appointment and had a 15 minute wait, as they were fully busy when I arrived. I was asked to chose the gel colour I wanted, whilst I waited, so I found this quite helpful as I didn't feel rushed to chose a colour and enjoyed browsing. I already had a good idea of the colour I wanted and was amazed at the huge selection of colours to chose from. My female technician was polite and happy to explain when I asked any questions about treatments. Apart from that, there was no other interaction with me, unless necessary and she conversed from time to time with her colleagues in her own language, which was Chinese. I was happy to sit and enjoy my nails being pampered. Previous gel was quickly removed, my nails tidied and manicured to my desired length and shape followed by the gels, which I was very pleased with. About 35-40 mins in all. I hadn't realised it was cash only, until I saw another customer paying by cash. This wasn't a problem as there is a cash point at the nearby Halifax. I found the treatment charge was competitively priced compared to what I've paid previously. The only thing I found a bit rude was I offered a tip with my payment, which was literally snatched off the counter from in front of me, without even a "thank you" or a polite "good-bye", from the person taking the payment, which was not the technician who had done my treatment. Apart from that incident, overall I'm very happy with my nails and the work done and I would be happy to use Coco's Nails again in the future.

   I've been coming here for a while now and have noticed that the quality of the service has been going downhill. The quality of the acrylics has been awful the last couple of times, not curing enough and leaving me with funny shaped nails. The gel application has been sloppy and I regretted coming in to get my infills the second I saw the acrylic application. Not sure why but it seems that they are becoming careless over time... please think twice before considering coming here.

   Worst customer service ever! The waiting times are a joke! They say 15-20 mins but make you wait at least half a hour! No point booking in advance because they dont care about your time!! The lady who served me acted like as if she was doing me the biggest favour. She blamed me for ruining the polish when I accidentally smudged it while switching my hands, rolled her eyes at me when I said I just wanted gel polish without the manicure. The polish they use are cheap and in the end they didnt even do a good job. I have never made felt so uncomfortable in my life!

   It was good, as you would expect. They didn't speak one word to me for general conversation which I didn't like as was sat there in silence for an hour while they chatted amongst themselves. Nails were good, slight air bubble in one or my nails but all still all on after 16 days.

   I was really happy with the service received here. I went to get acrylics for the first time since moving to Basingstoke and they did a fantastic job. I’ve been to many nail salons and this is one of the best. Will definitely be back

   Great online booking through Google. Good covid safety measures. Lovely colour selection. Loyalty card system. Gel manicure for a reasonable price. Even makes my chubby ugly hands look tolerable. Thanks for speedy service and for letting me run to the cash point because I forgot it was cash only.
