   Since it's takeover by Stephen and Claire this place has taken its place as the heart of the cove community. With family focusses event and parties, it's welcoming and friendly. This is what a community pub should be!

   Spent some money getting the place freshened up and makes a difference. Toilets still a bit of a warzone, but if the locals keep smashing them up, I can understand why they don't invest too much in getting them looking pretty.

   This is a local pub. We asked the owner where we could catch a bus to Aberdeen and he walked us outside to show us the bus stop and told us to take number 3 bus. Then after giving us a couple of pints he gave us a piece of paper with the bus times on them. The people are very nice. I am from Texas and my friend is from Czech Republic. Soup and beer was great.

   Friendly Local Pub. Suitable for BOTH Visitors from outside the area & also Neighbourhood residents. Good range of pub food & smashing selection of Curries. Bar has multi screens showing Football & Sports. Prices are around what you would expect of the area & City. There is a Car Park (which is Wheelchair Accessible) adjoining the Pub at the REAR of the premises. The Pub itself is ALSO Wheelchair Accessible via a specially fitted PERMANENT Wheelchair Ramp-made from Concrete with Sturdy Handrails too.

   Only gave a star so I could post as it's a horrible place. The manageress is the rudest person I have even laid eyes on, would put people off going like it has my friends and I. Clearly has favourites though as on more then one occasion we seen her handing over free trebles. Only go there if your part of the "gang". No atmosphere, needs a face lift badly and definitely new staff.
