Booked a table with family and was treated very well by Sam who was pleasant, and helpful despite being very busy as the lounge area started to fill up for the Halloween Pub Quiz. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Would recommend.
Out for a meal with mum and dad on a Sunday, 5 of us in total. Great food, great service, absolutely stuffed! Can't complain at all, good was fine, hot and all eaten! Some at the table had pudding, I couldn't manage! Food was more than enough! Sam was great at making sure we were all fine! Give him a pay rise! Honestly lovely time had by all! Thank you and will be back as its always a good feed in this place!
Out for a meal with the in-laws, lovely place (been before) relaxed atmosphere, great service, food amazing, hot, enough and presented well! Sam was great at dealing with us, nothing was a problem! Loved our visit to the Northern Bar in Aberdeen. Our server Sam made recommendations of food and drink that were thoroughly enjoyed. Clean pub, great atmosphere, food & drinks were affordable and tasty. We will be back!

We used to be regulars here for Sunday grub a few years ago, but hadn't eaten here for a while now after food went downhill a bit. Thought we'd give it another go now, and we really shouldn't have left it so long. Just as comfortable as it used to be, with cheerful friendly staff, and the food was as good as we've had for pub grub in quite a while. We'll be going back for sure!
Good pub grub just what you need before a night out
Had lunch here today 12/5/22 and have to give this place a great review. The food came in good time and was exceptional for a pub lunch. Very clean and relaxed interior with a nice chilled vibe. If this place we're on union st it would be a waste. You may have to make a bit more effort to get there but it's worth it as they return the favour with delicious food at extremely competitive prices. The menu seems to have had a revamp aswell. Highly recommended.
Was recommended by a colleague and it didn’t disappoint. Brilliant food and service! The haggis fritters were delicious and I could have eaten the rump steak melt again. Really good portion sizes and the chips were perfect. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Aberdeen
