I couldn't be happier with this dental practise. No matter whether I am with the hygienist or the dentist I always feel like I am in safe hands. They both are very professional but also so open and communicative about what they are doing and any issues they might be seeing with your dental health. Every one is friendly and helpful and I can honestly say it's the first dentist I've ever had which doesn't have me curling up in anxiety and nerves before an appointment.
Due to many years of travel and working abroad, I have been to many dentists, so I feel 'qualified' to state that Dr Ahmed is most definitly the best dentist I have ever known. She never makes you feel hurried and explains everything in a way that no previous dentist has ever done. She checks so many other aspects often never taken into consideration by many other dentists. Both my husband and I are very pleased with the level of care and treatment offered and highly recommend Dr Ahmed.
I been a patient at Merrygate Dental Surgery for approximately 20 years now. I have always been impressed by the quality of the dentistry work, the dentists I have seen have explained fully any procedures necessary and costings before work has been carried out. Most of all though, unlike many doctors surgeries, the reception staff are always extremely polite and helpful, they try their utmost to accommodate convenient appointment dates/times whilst juggling a mound of paperwork, answering the telephone and dealing with patients. They always have a smile on their faces and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend this dental practice for all round individual care and attention, quality of work and excellent service.
Excellent service with a smile, made my children feel very comfortable. If only all dentists were of this high standard. Fantastic experience at the dentist! Dr Uzma Ahmed is an excellent dentist, with a wealth of knowledge, skill and professionalism. She took her time to explain every procedure including what I may feel during the process. She was very caring as she listened to understand the issues I had with my root canal. The high definition inter-oral camera linked to TV screen in her office, clarified her explanations of my oral health (this technology I had not experienced before). She is very professional with her explanations yet provided a very personable service in a calming atmosphere. I am ready for the next needle, thanks to her gentle touch.
