I have been having a weave for the past 13 years and have had a the same lady do my hair for the past 7 years. I don’t like change but when my usual lady went away I had to find someone else. I came across beauty by Ajandeye on google, liked the reviews, and took a leap of faith. So glad that I did because my weave was done the best it had ever been! I was so happy with it, and the staff were really friendly. Really nice salon. I’ve now booked to go back again, and will be using this salon every time now.
Staff are always friendly and professional. My hair always looks amazing after each visit. Braids completed beautifully and in a timely manner. They always offer refreshments and great people to have fun chats with.
Absolutely amazing service today for my little 5 year old boy who has afro hair. He has a very sensitive head love him and is very anxious but Sugar put him at ease and was just incredible with him. He ended up singing and chatting which is unheard of when he has his hair done. Sugar was without a doubt what made this experience for my boy so much better than he's previously experienced. We will be back and would highly recommend.
First time getting braided so took a leap of faith. So glad I came here as the staff are so friendly and hospitable; offering drinks and sweets throughout the braiding! I’m not a very social or chatty person but the owner still made me feel so welcome and gave lots of advice on taking care of my hair. Will definitely be coming back and recommend to anybody needing anything done. Left feeling so fresh!
Someone recommended this hairdressers to me and Today my son got his hair done and I can't thank the stylist enough for her time, patience with doing my sons hair. As he don't like getting his hair done Moretime. He absolutely loves it and so do i❤. Definitely will be going back here again 100%. Also great customer service too.
Very happy with the service provided, everyone was very friendly and provided drinks/snacks for the entirety of the braiding - I’m loving my passion twist braids and would definitely recommend and use the salon again, 10/10 work!!

I definitely do not recommend. You have to chase them up to even confirm whether your appointment is booked or not. But, the main negative experience was with the handling of my hair. I believe I was given a member of staff with very little experience. I had to give her my own brush as she was ripping my hair out during the wash and blow-dry process. I would suggest she does more practice with brushing Afro-Caribbean hair. Of course, I recommended she brush from the ends up to the root, and rather than yank the brush through my hair when she felt tension to stop and brush out the knot/hair. But, I guess it fell on deaf ears, like my complaint to the owner for this service. And for some reason, she kept brushing my hair from the root to the tip with a small tooth comb when prepping my hair to add braids. That’s bound to cause knotting and unnecessary hair loss! Also, in the middle of getting my hair done the staff member tells the owner “I’ve never done box braids before, except for my mum’s.” Although I brought this up, it was talked down as a misunderstanding. Perhaps, it was brushed off as I had caught them red handed - that the girl doesn’t know what she is doing! However, I’ve given two stars instead of one as a benefit of the doubt. As, the braids I had done were just about acceptable and I was given a 10% discount. Just please handle hair more carefully in the future. “We kindly ask that future reports be accurate…” I would suggest practice what you preach, but beside that have a good day.
