   Fine until I challenged reception with the very rude lady who works there. I've been a loyal customer for 4 years. They failed to advise me on the brakes when it was MOT and serviced earlier in the year. I didn't even know the discs and pads were shot until it started scaping a few months ago and I had them replaced elsewhere. My car has had issues since it was last in this garage after which I had not experienced before. This was only after I complained about my keys being left in my car which my insurance does not cover! VERY Disappointed. Won't be going back! Awww we've responded have we. Funny that my oil was also clearly not filled and the garage I took it to while visiting family (who've used them for years) said the brakes would have clearly been showing signs of needing replacement soon when it was in for MOT. Not a problem till I complained. Didn't really have a choice with the tyres as the usual ones I get weren't gonna come in quick enough. And also they point blank refused to do anything about this. I won't be missing dealing with an incredibly rude receptionist! Seems I'm not the only one who's had to deal with her looking at other reviews.

   If I could give them zero stars, I would. Terrible customer service. Agree with other reviews, if you challenge reception, the attitude changes. Seems fine if everything is ok but cannot deal with complaints. Actually hung up the phone on me. Technician put my locking wheel key in someone else's glovebox. Took a day of multiple phone calls from myself to them to get it back. Even gave me the customer's phone number to chase them myself! Had to drive on a tyre which had sealant in it. Then reception refused to change my tyre! Completely unprofessional; should not be dealing with customers.

   As a loan female car owner I wanted to go to a garage that did not take advantage of this. Had many recommendations from people and John McInnes lived up to its positive reviews and then even more!!! Nicky was amazing, so helpful and could not have done more to help me with my car MOT, the oil change and the faults that needed fixing.
