We’ve found our new hairdresser! Since moving from London, this is the first time we have found someone who has the expertise for my daughter Phoebe’s curly hair. Thank you Rebecca at Storm hair salon. She is beaming with the cut and the style. All round wonderful experience - recommend highly.
One of the best spots in Southampton. I got my hair cut by the wonderful Rebecca and she did not disappoint at all, talked me through the process and I was very impressed with the outcome. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.
I got a fantastic haircut from the calm and lovely Rebecca a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't had a proper haircut for ages, and Rebecca was really good at helping me figure out what I wanted to do with my fine hair, as well as getting me to think about what I wanted for my hair in future, which I really appreciated. It's such a good haircut. I'll definitely be returning here when I come back to the UK. Thank you Rebecca!
DO NOT TRUST THIS SALON!! I came in with black hair and a clear request to move to an overall auburn look. I showed stylist Rebecca a photo and, based on our discussion, she assured me that her balayage technique would achieve this. At no point did she indicate that the end result would be anything other than an overall auburn finish. On arrival, she mentioned there would be “a few bits of black,” but reassured me the final result would still be auburn. What I left with was nothing close — the back of my hair had a large, harsh section of solid black with uneven streaks of colour. The work was sloppy, poorly blended, and looked unfinished. After the appointment, Rebecca repeatedly complained about the amount of bleach required for my hair and refused to use more as she had “already used 4 packets” despite leaving large untouched sections. She failed to check the foils or monitor the process properly, leaving some sections over-processed and damaged. My haircut was also uneven and had to be corrected elsewhere. When I expressed my dissatisfaction immediately after the appointment, my concerns were dismissed. Rebecca simply said she was happy with it — despite me, the paying customer, clearly not being satisfied. I went to a reputable salon in London to have this fixed. That stylist confirmed the work was uneven, the bleach application careless, and the hair unnecessarily damaged. She was able to correct both the colour and cut to a professional standard — something that should have been done in the first place. I contacted the salon and was sent back to deal with Rebecca — the same person responsible for the poor work — who even suggested covering my hair with black dye, completely contradicting my original request. I than had request a refund for the colour service, offering to pay for the blow dry and cut. My request was ignored. Completely unprofessional and quite frankly rude. This was a complete waste of time and money, and it has caused unnecessary stress and damage to my hair. I am leaving this review to warn others: this salon does not take responsibility for poor workmanship, does not value customer feedback, and does not deliver the results promised.
I got a curtain bangs at Bita yesterday, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! Although it was just a curtain bangs, the hairstylist was incredibly professional and passionate about her work. She took great care in understanding my preferences and ensuring the final result was exactly what I wanted. Her expertise and enthusiasm made the whole process enjoyable. I have to add that she is the most satisfying hairstylist I've encountered in Southampton. My friends all say that my new bangs suit me very well, and I am really happy! Highly recommend Bita Hair Studio for anyone looking for a skilled and friendly hairstylist!!!

I was looking for a good curly hairdresser in Southampton and saw this salon recommended a number of times. Gina really took the time to understand what I was wanting and how to achieve this with my hair texture. I usually wait a little while to give my hair a chance to settle before judging a haircut and it looks just as good now as the day I got it cut!
I have been to Storm Hair twice now, and both times I have left with the best hair cuts I've ever had. I have had some pretty dire experiences with getting my hair cut, so I always feel a little nervous getting it done, but everybody at Storm is so friendly, and smiley. The salon is absolutely gorgeous, too! When it comes down to getting your hair cut, the stylists are amazing. They really take the time to listen to what you want as well. My most recent hair was done by Daisy, and she cut it beautifully. She managed to make my hair feel so lightweight, and healthy and I am so pleased with the outcome :) Alicia has also cut my hair in the past, and that was also a stunning cut that ended up growing out lovely too. Would recommend this salon over and over again xx
The haircut was really good, really friendly and nice environment and Daisy seemed to understand curly hair and gave me a great style. Lovely experience!
