Way better than our local Asda’s in Lower Earley which is dirty and poorly stocked Only popped in for a few items on our way to visit friends

Rather an old store, but still has a good range
Apart from the store being colder than my fridge at home. Prices on many items were higher than other Morrisons stores, there were little, if any eco pouch options and choices were limited. One advantage of this store is that the shelves were well stocked. Wouldn't go there again though.
Short but accurate review - Fresh bakery goods are limited and what is there is not desirable. Other customers are shopping are loud, rude and unfriendly. Many items are not on the correct shelf or label. Stood waiting at the cooked counter for approximately 3 minutes as there was no one there to serve whilst management team of 3 had a meeting a few steps away from me about their personal activities planned for the weekend. Till staff member decided to have a full conversation with the customer in front of me regarding the mess the country is and suggesting ideas in how to improve it. Nothing wrong with that however after the customer has paid, I do not expect to stand there and listen to this waiting whilst they finish. Overall was a horrible experience.

I visited Wokingham morrisons again today the 20th Dec 2022. The service I received was absolutely superb. Staff are very welcome and friendly. I know you might worder why I drove all the way from Reading to Wokingham branch..... I visited the Reading branch in whitely this morning about 0945hrs. The staff at the Fish area were soooo rude (lady and a gentleman) I tryed to hold my self but I couldn't. Before i even asked her a question, she raised up her voice... "I have been here since 6am am not doing any more fish" I ask her, can I... Before even waiting for my question, she went on again "all the fish are all there" My 6yrs old son was scared and told me... "dad let's get out of here" I was so embarrassed and all I wanted was just a simple enquiry... I reported to the Duty manager but honestly I am happy to drive all the way to Wokingham where I will feel welcomed and respected for who I am. Sometimes it's not really about the monies but services and respect that matters a lot. Nb. This is the second bad experience I have had in Reading branch. First one was in veg area where I asked I staff about some offers they had... She told me "I don't know" and she walked away with her hands up.. I was shocked eyes browsed up.....
Er...well..it's a supermarket, you won't be too surprised to hear it's sells lots of stuff. Clean and well stocked.
Popped in Oct 9th 2022 haven't been there for years as I was going to the church there. nicely surprised and found good prices and some nice household bits may visit a bit more now I've ventured in as it not that far for me.
Decent supermarket and a bit tucked away so doesn't tend to get very busy. I do think they need to order more selection, find a lot of stuff at other Morrisons that you can never find at this one. But all things considered, not bad.
