   Free car parking for shoppers using the store. Good selection of fresh produce, particularly meats. Own brand coffee and wines are good at the price. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Pharmacy struggles a bit to cope.

   Charmless grey box next to cracked concrete retail park - no toilets and irritated I asked if they had them. Its own carpark has a two hour limit and sits on a slope - alarmingly strewn with abandoned shopping carts, waiting for a breeze to send them skittering downhill into your side panels. Still, all the basic groceries if that’s what you’re after.

   Turned up early for my pharmacy appointment, checked in as instructed, and then sat for over 20 minutes watching staff shuffle prescriptions like they were playing a slow-motion card game. Eventually, someone who arrived after me—wearing a Renault Trucks jacket—simply strolled into the appointment room ahead of me without a word. Apparently, the queue system here is based less on time and more on vibes. If you're hoping for structure or basic fairness, you're better off consulting a sundial in the rain. Utterly disorganised. Avoid if you value your time (or your blood pressure).

   Bought grapes and baked mango but the grapes are not fresh and they gave me baked pineapple. They said will deliver latest by 9.55am but i received it at 10.05am. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING Update from Uber Eats (which is very unhelpful): Hi Chu, We understand that receiving an order that doesn’t meet your expectations can be frustrating. Unfortunately, we will not be able to process a refund for this order. We would encourage you to rate in your app the store and the delivery partner so we can inform them and improve your experience with us going forward.. We do our best to only partner with restaurants with a great reputation for food and it’s disappointing to learn this isn’t the case for your order. We have processes in place to review this type of feedback with restaurants, so your concern hasn’t gone unnoticed. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about this.    A convenient store with ample parking and reasonably good facilities but somehow the interior looked a bit drab and gloomy. There were some bargains but majority of the items were slightly over the price than what you would pay at other competitive supermarkets.

   I've been here a couple times as Asda has some cereal that I can't find elsewhere.. there is plenty of space to move around, always in and out without any issue & always friendly staff. It isn't easy to get to from the centre of Reading & the best way to go there is to drive or to walk if you have the time.

   I ordered my shopping online to be delivered between 20:00 and 21:00 pm I had a phone call from the store to say the van had broken down and to cancel I would have to ring customer service the first phone call they refused to cancel then I asked to speak to a manager. They put the phone down on me so I called again. They then said they would cancel. I woke this morning to find they not only taken the money £101.00 they also said my shopping had been delivered. It most definitely has not been delivered and I have to 5 days for a full refund. I will never step foot in asda again . Trading standards have been notified. Order number:2352333001374

   Disgusting customer service, cocky attitude of front line staff, especially those staff who are so-called seniors. they make you feel like they are not there to serve but undermine customers. They need more coaching, mentoring and appropriate training on customer service. Stopped visiting this shop now for good.

   This store needs complete redevelopment. It’s sited in quite an odd situation, semi-derelict buildings surrounding it, a very dated area of shops (can’t really call it a “shopping centre”). Also no toilet facilities. Granted it has one disabled toilet which was out of order at the time of my visit. I was advised there are council owned run toilets outside, however all these are out of order, block looks derelict intact with rubbish strewn everywhere outside. To have an Asda supermarket with no public toilet facilities is extremely poor. Q

   Tilehurst is a poor store, never any stock on the shelves the prices seem to be going up faster at asda than other supermarkets. Some of the staff are fantastic, Jennifer and Jan on checkouts and George in fruit and veg apart from them i find the customer service in this store shocking and the managers are the worst very rude and unhelpful
