I’ve been using Car Clinic for several years now for MOTs and servicing on my Mercedes E-Class, and they’ve always been excellent. Their prices are fair, and the service is top-notch. What I really appreciate is their honesty. Unlike some garages I’ve used in the past that always seemed to “find” something urgent to fix, Car Clinic never push unnecessary repairs. Even when they do spot something, they’re upfront about whether it actually needs doing now. For example, after my recent MOT, they mentioned my brake pads were worn—but not badly—and said I should get more life out of them before replacing. I have personally had nothing but great experiences with Car Clinic

Just 800 miles after a full service by Car Clinic Bridge of Don Aberdeen and obtaining a clean bill of heath in all respects, my 2018 vehicle failed it's MOT with one 'Dangerous, Do Not Drive' fault i.e. a front brake pad down to the metal and way below the legal minimum of 1.5mm (also the wear alarm wire was not connected) and secondly, a 'Repair Immediately' fail with corrosion of a hydraulic line and leak at a joint. Both these fails were repaired in quick time by the MOT garage. My Car Clinic service record, 800 miles previously, had recorded a 10mm brake pad thickness and no piping corrosion on any system anywhere under the vehicle. When talking on the phone to the reception desk I heard an offer of apologies and a suggestion they would refund the £180 labour costs I incurred for the repairs. When visiting personally, with the damaged pads and the full repair invoice, it changed to 'We said we'd take it off your next bill'. What next bill? Will I still have the car? Would I ever return there? A good trick that one. So, as they said - I must have indeed misheard their first offer :-) Then the sliding around started. "The mechanic can't see that particular brake pad", it's hidden by the wheel. All the same it got a 10mm thickness score! Plus to make it worse the remove wheels, replace wheels and torque box had been ticked too, but obviously had never actually been done. How good is that, and there's me confidently taking my whole family on a mountainous west coast holiday just after the MOT. Thank goodness the MOT mechanic was alive to his job or there may have been serious implication halfway down a single track hill with no phone coverage. Thoughts like that make it easy to sleep at night ... not! Similar story with the leaking hydraulic system. Apparently, as far as the manager is concerned, the corrosion and leak must have happened in the last 800 miles. Fast work indeed. Also, he says, his mechanic may have missed the problem because it's somewhere behind a panel and not actually visible ... odd then that the MOT mechanic, who cannot remove panels during the inspection, spotted it clear enough to fail the vehicle. Again thanks to him being wide awake another potentially nasty mountainside failure was prevented. So where does that leave us? After all the sliding around and the evasion of responsibilities at every turn they offered to pay only for the new pads and warning wire at £96. I was so fed up with the whole dodgy 'discussion' I took that refund and left, of course dear reader, never to return. I cannot with any decency recommend any company that in error allows their customer to be put into potentially very hazardous situations and then makes weak and erroneous excuses to wriggle out from under. Their service sheet (well, mine anyway) is proven to have been a true 'tick the box' exercise in several important areas, there may be more of course. There will no doubt be some sort of a response from Car Clinic manager. That's ok, nothing can be said now that would change this review. I can fully accept mistakes and errors can be made, but, for goodness sake, do the right thing when they are identified, but only if your reputation means anything at all.

Much better service and prices than the "local" Land Rover dealer. Got an appointment for my Discovery Sport pretty quickly after I accepted their quote for my vehicle's first service. Friendly staff and the service was done in good time. As Arnie said "I'll be back!"

Avoid! They carried out an MOT to my car and failed to see the brake pipes being corroded. The brake pipes burst whilst I was driving. at that point I didn't know what happened and went to them to fix the car as I was trusting them. They fixed the broken pipe and that wasn't cheap and did not mention anything about the other 3. When I asked how that was possible after just 4 months after they conducted the MOT they said that It's normal. I went to a different garage for a second opinion and to check the other pipes and we'll, you can see the state of the pipes in the photos. Went to them and the attitude of the management was to say the least unacceptable. Not even apologised. They only repaired one brake pipe at their expense and said to me that the other one are good enough and they should be safe. When I asked for an invoice of the work they done the manager said " You want an invoice?" I said "Yes" Manager: " Oh you're are special!" Me: "Yes, I am, and you should give me a proof that you worked at the car!" One week after another pipe burst. I don't think I need to say anything after this to tell my opinion about this garage and the service, professionalism and their attitude regarding admitting to have making a mistake that could have cost lives. My car Mercedes Benz. Reg number: LS55XHY

Have used them twice for major mechanical to repairs to my car in the last few months. They have the diagnostic equipment and identified a problem with my Land Rover. Repaired the car on both occasions, at parts and labour costs far less than main dealer. This will be my new go-to place for service and repairs.

Booked in for an MOT, had a good experience. I'll definitely be booking again in a years time. They also offered blue light card and defense discount.
